Generally speaking, the adjustment effect is quite obvious. Although these functions can save our "waste films" to some extent. However, the adjustment range of these functions is still relatively limited, and there is no guarantee that every photo can be successfully "saved". Therefore, it is very important to try to avoid mistakes in the early stage of shooting. However, I still hope that camera manufacturers can develop more such functions, reduce the shooting difficulty of photographers as much as possible and improve the success rate of photos. "2. Digital lens optimization

In the menu of 5D4, you can see that the function of digital lens optimization has been added. Originally, this function can only be realized in DPP (Digital Photo Professional Edition) software. Now this function is fully realized in 5D4.

Before 5D3, peripheral brightness correction and color difference correction were added. This time, the distortion correction of wide-angle lens and diffraction correction of small aperture shooting are added.

But at the same time, it should be noted that after turning on digital lens optimization, the speed of continuous shooting will slow down. My personal guess is that it will process more data, which will affect the speed of continuous shooting, and it should be improved in the future.

When digital lens optimization is turned on, the first two options will be automatically hidden, because those two functions are already included in digital lens optimization. One more thing, Canon's optical optimization (peripheral brightness correction, chromatic aberration, distortion and diffraction) is based on some official lens data, but all lenses released by Canon in the future will have built-in chips to record lens data, so there is no need to update them in the future, and the optical optimization data of any new lens can be used directly. Digital lens optimization needs to be registered through EOS utility.

"3. Add white priority white balance mode.

"White priority" is a new white balance mode, which eliminates the influence of incandescent lamps and other light sources and tries to restore white as much as possible, thus obtaining a clean imaging effect. The previous automatic white balance has a new name, called "atmosphere priority".

Canon's department has always attached great importance to the video shooting function since 5D2. This time, 5D4 continued this traditional advantage, that is, it added the 4K video function and adopted the Motion JPEG compression format (the data volume is relatively large, which can be considered as a point that can be improved in the future). However, unlike Canon EOS- 1DX Mark II, the 4K video of EOS 5D4 only supports 30P(NTSC) at most.
