Is that school in Taodao, Thailand good for diving?

If diving is for research, then you must find a school to study. It is very suitable to learn some diving in Taodao. Here's how to choose a school in Daoxuan. We can watch it together, and then we can learn to dive well.

I divide the Taoist school into two types:

The first type: cool dive, KTR.

The second type: ordinary latent school

I analyze it from the following three points, which are also the points that everyone is most concerned about:

1. Students' graduation ability

2. Course passing rate, teaching safety

3. School hardware conditions

Students' graduation ability-Cool dive and KTR are higher than KTR of ordinary dive schools and Peng Chun of General Cool dive. It is proved that the difficulty of the course is greater than the latter by bringing the southwest latent point into the OW teaching latent point. Simply explain the difference between diving points, and the requirements for divers are different. The diving spots in Taodao can be roughly divided into two types:

Sandy diving spots, mainly the sandy land extending from the beach, are generally shallow in depth and relatively poor in landscape, which are suitable for learning basic skills. For example, Nanyuan Island Japanese Garden and twins all belong to such diving spots.

Cool dive and KTR: Choose this dive point as 1 2 dive of OW.

Ordinary dive school: choose such a dive point throughout the OW course.

Offshore dive sites, which are mainly rocky terrain in the sea, such as Taodao, Peng Chun, Southwest and Yangfan.

Rock belongs to this kind of latent point. However, because the depth of the diving site exceeds 18m, the neutral buoyancy of the trainees is very high. If the requirements cannot be met, there is a risk of sinking to the bottom of the sea or floating to the surface.

Cool dive and KTR: Select this dive point as the 3rd and 4th dive point of OW.

Therefore, Peng Chun and Southwest China are set as the OW graduation diving spots of KTR and the OW course of cool diving, so the ability of students is very high. In particular, Cool Diving conducts regular technical diving training for the coaching team every year, which I quite agree with.

Environment: The certification standard is lower than the actual standard.

For example, many people have obtained the certificate of diving instructor, but they are not competent enough to find a job. This situation is very common in Taodao.

What do you mean? According to international diving standards, any two or more certified divers (such as two OWs) can dive independently. However, there is still a gap between this requirement and the minimum certification requirement of PADI. PADI only sets the minimum teaching standards, just like the training syllabus in the domestic education system, how to teach and how to train is determined by hidden schools.

For example, Smilan, the best diving area in Thailand, and Sipadan, the best diving spot in Malaysia, all accept OW divers, but the depth is not more than18m. These diving spots are basically offshore diving spots. If students have no diving experience in such diving spots, there is a great risk of sinking to the surface. How can I dive safely? So the two divers seem to hold OW certificates, but there are differences in their abilities.

Course passing rate, teaching safety and school teaching ideas are actually written here. Many people may be thinking, KTR and Qian Ku have higher graduation requirements, so is the passing rate lower?

Causes of course failure or failure may mainly occur in the following two situations:

1. Mirror drainage

2. Afraid of water

The part that requires higher skills lies in the requirements of neutral buoyancy, underwater kicking and posture. The improvement in this area is more about paying time and energy and advanced improvement, so it will not directly affect the pass rate. However, the study time will be longer. For example, KTR explicitly requires two half-day study hours in the swimming pool, and most cool diving courses are also studied twice in the swimming pool. Therefore, compared with the standard half-day course, students have more time to practice and learn various skills, which can be improved.

So when it comes to this, students should understand that, in fact, PADI has set a minimum graduation standard. Compared with the college entrance examination, PADI stipulated the undergraduate score line. However, the purpose of school teaching is to teach with three scores or one line, which is totally different.

I also see that some schools have a publicity pass rate of 100%. What is lighter may be the false propaganda of the school. As a publicity stunt, the other one is more serious. It is likely to lower the safety standards and issue certificates, which is the legendary money to buy certificates. However, this did not happen in Taodao.

The pass rate of normal OW courses should be around 90%.

In fact, there is no need to worry too much about safety. The industrial chain of Taodao diving teaching is very mature, and there has been no serious teaching diving accident since 10. After all, as a school, the most feared thing is diving accidents, and the supervision in this respect is also quite strict.

Theoretical analysis 1: during the study period, the safety factors of diving, KTR and cool diving should be lower than those of ordinary diving schools, after all, diving points are more difficult.

PS: Fortunately, KTR and Ku Qian both keep zero accident records, so it is purely theoretical analysis.

Theoretical analysis 2: After graduation, the safety factor of diving, KTR and cool diving should be higher than that of ordinary diving schools, after all, diving is more difficult.

PS: After all, graduation is difficult, and students experience more kinds of diving spots. Therefore, students' ability to deal with problems is better than the latter in the process of diving independently after holding the certificate. However, in the report of certified diving accident, the diver's graduation diving school is rarely mentioned, so this one is only used as a theoretical analysis.

At this point, the choice is actually very clear. I will choose KTR or Cool Diving, because the purpose of my research is to dive safely in other places in the future, not to get a certificate after graduation.

School hardware conditions These schools are similar in size, and they are all hidden shops+resorts. Basically, every school has 2-3 swimming pools and 3-4 boats. Some schools exaggerate publicity, but this is not the point.

Because even if the school has 10 swimming pools, you can only go to one. The key is whether your swimming pool is crowded or not, and whether there are many people on board. As far as I know, the situation of students in all schools is similar. Because the cost of the ship is fixed, a ship usually arranges 20-25 people. Even if there are 10 boats, 10 people will not be arranged for one boat, but 10 people will go to sea together.

So what is the data that really deserves students' attention?

1. Accommodation. At the same tuition, KTR and Qian Ku provide free air-conditioned hot water accommodation. Generally diving shops provide rooms with fan cooling water.

2.

Swimming pool training time. Swimming pool is the process of learning basic diving skills, and it is the top priority in the whole OW course. The training time of KTR and Cool Diving is twice as long as that of ordinary diving schools, so it is more practical for natural students to learn.

3. Selection of diving spots. The diving spot determines the students' ability. As mentioned above, I won't explain it much. KTR and Cool Dive are the first choice.

4. Teaching proportion

The key point is that the maximum teaching ratio stipulated by PADI is 1: 8, and the number of Chinese schools in Daoism falls below 1: 4, which can fully guarantee the teaching quality. This is a prerequisite and very important.

The price of Chinese latent schools is the same, and the coaching commission of each student is basically the same. So if you were an experienced coach with the same time cost, would you choose to teach two people or four people? Similarly, as a school, from the perspective of safety, will you arrange more experienced coaches for four people? After all, diving teaching is also a market behavior. The lower the proportion of teaching, the greater the probability of meeting a new coach, and there will be no pie in the sky. If you teach one-on-one coaches that day, then more than 90% of the coaches you meet are new coaches who have just graduated, because the income from taking a student is not enough for the living expenses of OW course for four days.

KTR and Qian Ku rarely produce new coaches, so the coaching team is relatively stable, and there is no need to provide internship opportunities for new coaches.

To sum up, I graduated from Qian Ku with O+A, but if I were given another chance, I would still choose between KTR and Qian Ku, which I think are the best two diving schools in China in Taodao.

Buddhaview recommended by the hidden school is the most cost-effective hidden school after my comparison and screening. I will post the price of this school directly for your reference, because the prices of different modes of transportation are slightly different.

Bus+ship combined transport

OW:2080 RMB; Including 4 nights free air-conditioned hot water room +L company one-way transportation.

AOW: 1860 RMB; Including 2 nights free air-conditioned hot water room +L company one-way transportation.

OW+AOW:3560 RMB; Including 6 nights free air-conditioned hot water room+one-way transportation of L company.

Through train+bus+ship.

OW:2 160 RMB; Including 4 nights free air-conditioned hot water room+train +L company one-way transportation.

AOW: 1940 RMB; Including 2 nights free air-conditioned hot water room+train+one-way transportation of L company.

OW+AOW:3640 RMB; Including 6 nights free air-conditioned hot water room+train+one-way car and boat transfer from L company.

* It is suggested that friends who have enough time can choose the train. Trains in Thailand are very comfortable and worth experiencing.

Recommended by diving school 1, Buddhaview is not only the most cost-effective, but also the first school in Thailand to win the honor of PADI five-star diving school. He has more than 20 years of teaching experience in Taodao diving. There is also a diving instructor training course in China. As far as I know, only Buddhaview and Bans have it on the island. I didn't know until I went there that 50% of the coaches on the island came from Buddhaview, and their coaches were all selected one by one. Needless to say, if you have experienced it yourself, you will know that each of them has a simple and unique charm that really makes you want to recognize your cousin with everyone.

Besides, they teach many languages, such as English, Chinese, Japanese, German, French and Italian. Here, you may see Japanese students swim uniformly from one end of the pool to the other like bulldozers, and see the natural good water quality of western boys and girls. You can share the anecdotes of your country with divers from all over the world who come to investigate.

You can hardly see any advertisements of this school in China. It is like a clear stream in the peach road. For so many years, almost all of them were recommended by old classmates by word of mouth. It is not easy to live quietly until now. Everyone I know here, whether it's the coach, the staff of the diving shop or the divers from all over the world, is very happy and interesting to contact with them. The whole atmosphere is like a big family!

4. The coach is just like your parents and aunts, afraid of which skills you can't learn and practice well, and observe and improve our learning status professionally everywhere. Every coach I have contacted, both at home and abroad, is very helpful.

Especially the quiet coach who took our class at that time always stressed that a qualified diver should be the messenger of human beings to protect the marine ecological environment, and it was observed that almost every coach of them was teaching with this idea.

While doing skills at the bottom of the sea, the quiet coach settled us down, swam to a stone and picked up two plastic garbage to take away. This action of setting an example has brought me great touch, and also made me clearly understand the purpose of my diving card test.

5. The school is located in Nanwan, Taodao. There is a beach bar and restaurant. Room service is provided daily. Just leave the key at the front desk. This school is fully equipped.

The bay is close to several famous scenic spots on Taodao Island, such as Shark Bay, Lovecotao and Freedom Beach. It can be reached by walking or climbing mountains.

Textual research on preparing jellyfish suit before departure;

Because the intensity of underwater ultraviolet rays will be amplified, both men and women should prepare a jellyfish suit to make long-sleeved trousers, otherwise they are afraid of sunburn. I just learned to dive and bought more than 100 sets. You can basically get a certain degree of sun protection.

Sunscreen:

In order not to damage the marine ecology, don't wear ordinary sunscreen. It is best to buy professional marine sunscreen and recommend a brand. Reefsafe in the United States is not expensive, a large bottle 100. It can also be used for sun protection.

Face mirror+breathing tube:

Generally, hidden schools will provide it, but if you are neat and don't like to use what others have used, you can buy one and take it with you. /kloc-more than 0/00 yuan should be enough for research. When you plan to dive for a long time after getting the certificate, you can buy a professional brand mirror, about 500 RMB.

Diving socks:

You need to wear flippers for diving. If you wear your own shoes at ordinary times, it is easy to rub your feet. You'd better buy a pair of inexpensive diving socks or bring a pair of thick cotton socks to deal with it. It still hurts to grind your feet underwater.

Headgear: For girls who are seriously afraid of tanning, wearing a headgear can protect their face and neck from physical sunlight, and secondly, it can wrap their hair and avoid floating around underwater to block their sight. The most important thing is that some headdresses are cute and eye-catching when taking pictures underwater! I caught you at a glance! Pay attention to choose a style with more white space around the eyes, and leave room for the mirror to fit the face to avoid water accumulation.
