Jiuniupo in the Deep Memory —— Essays

From a distance, it looks like a rhubarb that has eaten enough tender grass and is drinking the clear river water at the foot of the slope with his head down.

It looks like a cow from a distance.

There are ninety-nine hills, large and small, on this slope, just like the shape of a bull's head. Jiuniupo got its name from this.

Jiuniupo is actually a leisurely and convex mountain range with a rammed sand river at the foot.

The source of rammed sand river oozes from the mountains of Lv Dong, which is clear and pure. Lu Dongshan has many scars. In ancient times, he was a handsome Miao boy in Baili Scenic Area. For a simple love story, he searched for his dream girl, a beautiful Miao girl. He was accidentally stabbed twice in the back, and there are still two huge holes on the flat and towering cliff at the top of Ludong Mountain. Perhaps this is Lu Dongshan's vent and talk, and it is also his pursuit and yearning. This river is the basis of his taste of fireworks.

The clear river flows down the valley along the lizard, winding like a silvery white gold belt, swaying freely. Regardless of spring, summer, autumn and winter, advection waves flow down the beach for dozens of miles, flow into the Donghe River and then roll eastward, flow into Shui Yuan, and flow into Dongting Lake. Mountains, green trees, dams, cottages and people on both sides of the strait are tall, straight, flat, beautiful and confident because of the river. People on both sides of the strait dam rivers, irrigate fields, raise fish and plant bamboo shoots. Usually, people go down to the river to wash clothes and vegetables. In summer, people go down to the river to catch shrimp and fish and turn over crabs. Those naked babies are fighting for water in the river, splashing water and spilling laughter in the valley. The river flows around the slope, and there are remote villages bordering Jishou, Huayuan and Baojing along the slope. Jiuniupo belongs to two counties and one city.

There are slopes on Jiuniu Slope, big slopes and small slopes, high slopes and low slopes. There are earth dams on the hillside, and there are several hills and fertile fields on the hillside. Big slope is connected with small slope, high slope is connected with low slope, slope is connected with slope, slope is connected with slope, slope is opposite to slope, and slope is dependent on slope.

There is an echo wall on Jiuniupo, and two chic and tall cliffs are close together, leaving a slender gap in the middle, thus forming a huge echo wall. As long as you stand opposite it and shout at the top of your lungs, you can come back with a vivid voice, and the voice will not be out of tune. Therefore, people often stand opposite the echo cliff, singing a few Miao songs or singing all kinds of birds or playing a song with their immature mouths. It is obviously the most beautiful music, lingering gently and leisurely between the slopes and valleys.

There is a horsehead peak on the slope, which looks like a fine horse with its head held high. It is the highest peak of Jiuniupo. People here often say that when you climb Matou Peak, the scenery on the dangerous peak is infinite. People want to climb Matou Peak, but few people can really climb it. There are cliffs around Matou Peak, and there is only one long, narrow, steep, wet and dangerous road to climb Matou Peak. There are always some mountain people who dare to take risks under Jiuniupo. As early as many years ago, several mountaineers struggled to climb Matou Peak and enjoyed the scenery on it. After that, there were always several mountaineers who climbed Matou Peak once. People who can climb Matou Peak have become the pride of people under Jiuniupo. Standing on Matou Peak, people can see the rolling mountains under the peak like a blue sea, and they can also hear the whistle of the train in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. In the early morning, the white fog rising from the rammed river downhill from the top of the mountain makes people feel like they are in the clouds and in the air. At night, you can see the lights of the bustling Jishou City.

There have been legends and ancient legends on Jiuniupo. During the Jiaqing period, there was a monk named "Ba Shen" in Taohuazhai on the hillside. He crossed the hillside from Matou Peak and came to Jiuniupo from Taohuazhai alone. On another mountain, a shed for cultivating immortals was set up. It is said that it takes three years and nine months to become an immortal. He cultivated the land until the day when it was three days short of three years and nine months. Towards evening, he was having dinner in the shed when he suddenly jumped down from a mountain. Along his arm, he wants to eat the rice in the bowl with him. He put a bowl for it to eat alone. It just doesn't eat, and insists on what's in his bowl. In a rage, he knocked on the skull with chopsticks in his hand. Who knows, mountain rat fell off the edge of the bowl on his arm and lay on the ground for a few times, motionless and out of breath. When the sun went down, the sky was overcast, the wind blew everywhere and the rain poured down. Lei Guang sparkled, the wind blew down the shed, and the rain fell on her like Reservoir Dogs. He walked downhill all night, climbed all the way back to Taohuazhai and finally got a strange disease. He talked in his sleep all night and died at noon the next day, leaving many puzzles and thoughts, like a mystery.

There is a graceful Bride Peak on Jiuniupo, which was not called Bride Peak in the past. Once upon a time, there was a sister named Xiang Tao. She married from one side of the hillside to the other. The road connecting her family and her husband's family had to pass through Jiuniupo. Just like a bride, she wore a beautiful new dress and got married. The hillside and her biological parents who have raised her for 18 years are really reluctant to leave, and she can't let go. Women don't marry for nothing. After all, women belong to others. Even the mice at home have to cry seven days and seven nights in advance. I don't think at home, once I really get married, I know the difference between women and men. To marry a man, you should be a big tree and a harbor in her life, providing her with shelter from the wind and rain, enjoying the cool, relieving her fatigue and protecting her just like protecting his eyes. She would rather fall than get hurt. At the age of eighteen, her appearance changed and her heart changed. That year, she and her companions went to catch the annual autumn field. On the field, she took a fancy to a young man at a glance, and her eyes were flustered. She walked up to the young man, stepped on him like a dragonfly, and then walked forward without looking back. The young man followed tacitly and walked towards a tree in Tanobe. She stopped and turned to look at the young man in front of her eyes, eyes colliding and heart to heart. On the third day after she married the young man, the young man was arrested. Since then, no one has heard from him. After that, she will never get married again. She always climbs to Jiuniupo when she has something to do, standing at the highest peak of the slope and looking into the distance. She looked around, looked around, and held her head high and sang a song: "When the sun goes down, I think of the blue sky as paper. I really miss it. " Acacia is hopeless, and she is old. On a sunny spring day, she ended her life with a rope under a green tree on this mountain peak. People buried her under the mountain peak and called it "Bride Peak". Later, Bride Peak became a symbol of faithful love between men and women in four villages and eight villages under Jiuniupo.

There is a young man named Singh. At the age of eighteen, he signed up for the army and passed several physical examinations. The last level was brushed down because of color blindness. He returned to the stockade with tears in his eyes. After his father knew about it, he climbed the Bride Peak in Jiuniupo and picked a handful of herbs to treat color blindness. He went home to stew in a casserole and advised him to drink for ten and a half months. The next year, the young man went to apply for a job again, lost color blindness during the physical examination, and realized his wish to join the army. Just a few days before entering the military camp, my father ground a table of tender tofu, cut dozens of pounds of refined pork, and came to the hillside specially to invite neighbors, relatives and friends to celebrate his son's joining the PLA. After the young man came to the army, he made a "third-class merit" and the whole family was very happy when the good news was sent home. Later, the young man was gloriously demobilized and returned to his hometown. He brought a sister from a city thousands of miles away and vowed to marry this young man with white hair. Back in the stockade, the young man took his wife from the city to Bride Peak and told her the story of Bride Peak. From then on, the husband and wife loved each other like honey and gave birth to a son and a daughter. Later, this son and a woman became the first generation of undergraduates who came out here. So the love story here is no longer a tragedy.

Times have changed, and people from four villages and eight villages under Poxia often gather in Jiuniupo. Invite them to climb the hill together, get together and have a heart-to-heart talk. They often brainstorm on the development of Jiuniupo, build a bottom-up Panpo highway, build several pavilions on the slope, plant peach trees and pear trees on a slope, and bend Jiuniu in the season when peach blossoms and pear blossoms are in full bloom and the autumn when peach blossoms and pear blossoms bend their branches. People are full, and tourists come and go to climb the slope to enjoy the beautiful scenery and taste the delicious food on the slope. At that time, people under the slope would sell a bowl of rice tofu, a bunch of oily baba and a gourd ladle of cold rice noodles on the slope, which also had high economic value.

I grew up in the stockade under the slope. The story of Jiu Niupo was told by the older generation and witnessed by me. Now that I am far away, I will engrave Jiuniupo in my memory.
