Number five introduces something.

Let me introduce you to the charming sea god-dolphin.

The graceful figure of dolphins.

Dolphins vary in shape, from the little Jurassic dolphin, which is only 1 meter long and weighs 30 kilograms, to the giant killer whale, which can reach 9.5 meters long and weigh 14 tons. However, regardless of their size, their bodies are in a smooth and elegant spindle shape, and their skin is smooth and hairless, which looks very energetic. Their most striking features are their prominent foreheads and hooked dorsal fins, which make them unique in the ocean.

Dolphin's abundant food

As omnivores, dolphins have a very rich diet, mainly including fish, squid and crustaceans. They have a highly developed sonar system, which can accurately detect underwater objects and prey by sending ultrasonic waves and receiving echoes. When hunting, they will use various strategies, such as surrounding, chasing, setting bait, disturbing prey, etc., which shows their high wisdom.

The unique sleeping style of dolphins.

Although dolphins need sleep, they can't completely lose consciousness, because this may cause them to suffocate or become targets of other predators. Therefore, they adopt a way called "Hemispheric Sleep". This way, half of their brains can rest, while the other half stays awake and one eye is open, so as to keep breathing and stay alert. Dolphins need about 8 hours' sleep every day and change sides every few hours to ensure that both brains can get enough rest.
