What are the otaku in Japan?

Otaku used to refer to people who are keen on animation, comics and computer games (ACG), but now it generally refers to people who are keen on subculture and have a deep understanding of it. However, it has been widely used by people from all walks of life in Japan and tends to be neutral, and some people are proud of being otaku. For Japanese anime fans in Europe and the United States, the sense of praise and criticism of this word varies from person to person.

otaku (Japanese pseudonym: ぉたく, romaji: otaku) is often directly called Otaku, which generally refers to a special group that has more knowledge of ACG (animation, comics, games) than ordinary people, and can appreciate and play 1 cartoon stills of Otaku, which is the generation of research-level ACG lovers. The house in "animation house" or "game house" is a house defined by China, which means "staying at home and not going out". Animation house or game house refers to staying at home all the time because of watching animation and playing games, which is different from the Japanese definition of house-otaku (otaku don't necessarily stay at home). Moreover, the anime house only refers to staying at home and watching anime, while the otaku has greater enthusiasm and knowledge in ACG (Secondary Element). In addition, there are people who are keen on other forms of subculture, such as "car house" and "military house".
