Plot:

Tian Dali, a young coach of the Nanhai Women's Volleyball Team, bid farewell to his revered teacher Wu Zhenya and took his five-year-old daughter Xiaoli, who lost her mother since childhood, to the north to coach independently. One day, he discovered the good youngster Lingxue on the skating rink, and fell in love with each other during the same training. In order not to affect Lingxue's development prospects, Tian Dali restrained his emotions and transferred her to Nanhai City to train better with teacher Wu Zhenya despite Lingxue's objections. During the "Cultural Revolution", Wu Zhenya was labeled a "reactionary academic authority" and Tian Dali was brutally beaten to death. After crushing the "Gang of Four", Coach Wu returned to the volleyball world, Ling Xue served as his assistant, and Tian Xiaoli became one of their favorite players. The main attacker on the team is Coach Wu's daughter Wu Lingling.
