How to adjust the pixels of SLR camera

The pixel value of SLR camera photos can be the largest. If you choose a smaller one, you will lose pixels in vain, but you won't have any improvement in image quality ... it's not worth the candle!

If you really want to adjust it, wouldn't it be better to shoot with the largest pixel and then enlarge or cut it in the computer?
