Do gasoline pickup trucks and diesel pickup trucks have the same retirement life?

If the models are the same, the service life of gasoline vehicles and diesel vehicles is the same. At present, pickup trucks are still subject to the mandatory scrapping regulations of 15 or 600,000 kilometers, and the scrapping regulations of 15 are gradually abolished in some areas, and domestic pickup trucks have no scrapping period. However, the 600,000-kilometer scrapping regulation is implemented. According to the annual inspection regulation of pickup trucks, new pickup trucks are exempted from inspection for six years, but they need to be stamped at the vehicle management office every two years in the first six years, inspected once every 7- 15 years, and inspected once in the second half of 15 years. For pickup trucks that fail to meet the annual inspection standards or exceed 600,000 kilometers, they need to be scrapped.

Judging from the use of domestic pickup truck owners, the mechanical wear and tear of pickup trucks after 5-8 years of use leads to a sharp increase in maintenance costs, an increase in fuel consumption and a high depreciation rate of car prices. Moreover, the inspection cost in the second half of 15 is unbearable for many pickup truck owners, and they often choose 5- 10 to change cars.

Gasoline pickup trucks consume a lot of fuel. Gasoline engines use gasoline as fuel and diesel engines use diesel as fuel. However, apart from the difference in fuel, there are the following differences:

1, the gasoline engine is of ignition type, and the fuel is ignited by the spark plug in the cylinder; Diesel engine is compression ignition, and the fuel is ignited by the heat generated by air compression in the cylinder, that is, air compression will increase the temperature. When the temperature of compressed air is higher than the ignition point of diesel, diesel will burn.

2. The cylinder compression of gasoline engines is relatively low, generally below 10, while that of diesel engines is relatively high, generally above 14.

3. Gasoline engines have low vibration and high speed, which are suitable for cars and light vehicles, while diesel engines have high power and good economic performance, which are suitable for trucks and buses. Because diesel is cheaper than gasoline, and the power of diesel engine is strong, more and more vehicles use diesel engines, and diesel vehicles appear.

4. Because cars, buses and other gasoline engine vehicles often run in cities, because of road congestion, the engine is often in a start-stop state and the temperature is low. Even under normal working conditions, the temperature and pressure of gasoline engine are lower than that of diesel engine, so under the working conditions of gasoline engine, oil is easy to produce low-temperature sludge, so it is required that gasoline engine oil has good low-temperature sludge dispersibility; However, diesel vehicles often run on the road, and the vehicle runs for a long time. The temperature and pressure of the engine are high, and more soot and carbon deposits are produced in the cylinder, and the engine oil is easily oxidized to produce colloid. Therefore, diesel engine oil needs good high-temperature detergency.

Standard provisions on compulsory scrapping of motor vehicles

Article 5 The service life of various types of motor vehicles is as follows:

(a) the use of small and micro taxis for 8 years, medium taxis for 10 years, and large taxis for 12 years;

(2) The leased passenger car has been used for 15 years;

(3) Use of small passenger cars 10 years, use of medium passenger cars 12 years and use of large passenger cars 15 years;

(4) The bus has been used for 13 years;

(5) Other small and micro buses are used 10 years, and large and medium buses are used 15 years;

(6) The service life of the special school bus is 15 years;

(seven) large and medium-sized non-operating buses (except large cars) for 20 years;

(8) Three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed trucks with single-cylinder engines have been used for 9 years, low-speed trucks and minivans with multi-cylinder engines have been used for 12 years, dangerous goods transport trucks have been used for 10 years, and other trucks (including semi-trailer tractors and full-trailer tractors) have been used for 15 years;

(9) The service life of special operation vehicles with freight function is 15 years, and the service life of special operation vehicles without freight function is 30 years;

(10) Full trailers and dangerous goods transport semi-trailers are used 10 years, container semi-trailers are used for 20 years, and other semi-trailers are used 15 years;

(eleven) motorcycle use 12 years, other motorcycles use 13 years.

For small and micro taxi passenger cars (except pure electric vehicles) and motorcycles, the relevant departments of the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government may, in light of local actual conditions, formulate regulations that are stricter than the above-mentioned service life, but the service life of small and micro taxi passenger cars shall not be less than 6 years, three-wheeled motorcycles shall not be less than1year, and other motorcycles shall not be less than1year.

Small and micro non-operating passenger cars, large non-operating cars and wheeled special mechanical cars have no service life limit.

The starting date of the service life of the motor vehicle shall be calculated according to the registration date, but if the registration formalities have not been completed for more than 2 years since the date of delivery, it shall be calculated according to the date of delivery.
