According to the principle of liability for breach of contract in the Civil Code, when one party breaches the contract, the other party can only ask the other party to compensate the actual loss and the expected loss of interest, which is restrictive, and the applicable provisions of the Consumer Law increase the responsibility of the operator. For consumers, if they can prove that they have been cheated, they can choose the form of liability, and double indemnity and the liability for breach of contract can be applied, but the two compensation methods cannot be used at the same time. Nevertheless, after the consumer chooses double indemnity, it does not affect the requirement that the other party continue to perform the contract.
