Where did Spanish dance originate? What are the characteristics?

Flamengo is an art form originating from Andalusia in southern Spain, including songs, music and dance.

The formation of Flamengo was deeply influenced by the Andalusian Moors and Jews, and also absorbed a lot of artistic elements of the Romans (Gypsies). Most of flamenco's famous contemporary dancers are Roma. Because the Spanish government promotes tourism, flamingo dance has become the representative of Spanish dance and even Spanish culture.

Flamengo has 50 kinds of music, each with its own rhythm pattern. Flamenco dance is an impromptu dance with no fixed movements. It depends entirely on the emotional interaction between dancers, singers, accompanists and audiences.

history

Blas Infante wrote in his book The Origin of Flamenco and the Secret of Its Singing Style (Orí genes de lo Flamenco y secretariat del Cante jondo? ) It is believed that the word "Flamengo" comes from the Spanish Arabic Ferrara Gu Men, that is, a fugitive farmer. He believes that after the Christian forces defeated the Moors in Andalusia in the15th century, many Moorish farmers mixed with the Roma to avoid being forced to leave their homes or convert to Christianity. They pretend to be Roma and can continue their traditions, including singing.

At first, flamenco only included flamenco's oratorios, and later flamenco's guitar accompaniment, rhythmic clapping or kicking, and dance accompaniment. Sometimes flamenco is accompanied by guitar, but singing is still the core of flamenco tradition. In recent years, accompaniment instruments also include a percussion wooden box and castanets in dancers' hands.

Most details of Flamengo's evolution can't be verified, such as its origin is grassroots, its own division, the persecution of Moors, Roma and Jews by Christian rulers, and the oral tradition of Roma.

A flamenco performance in Seville. In July 2005, the armies of Queen Isabella I of Castilla and Ferdinand of Aragon conquered Granada, the last fortress of Spanish Moors, and announced that they would adopt a policy of religious tolerance, so that Moors and Jews could submit peacefully. Later, however, the Inquisition persuaded Isabella and Ferdinand to betray their beliefs and forced the Moors and Jews to either convert to Christianity or move to Africa. In 1499 alone, 50,000 people were forced to be baptized. So a large number of Moors, Jews and Roma fled to the countryside and mountains. This is the soil for the formation of Flamengo art.

Because of this, there are a lot of emotional catharsis of sadness, anger, resistance, hope and pride in flamenco's art. The natural hoarse pronunciation of flamenco singers reflects the environment of this art origin and also affects other art forms in Spain.

Flamengo first appeared in Chinese characters in 1774. The period from 1869 to 19 10 is called the golden age of flamenco development. During this period, Flamengo performed in many cafes. There are obvious differences between men and women in dance steps: men pay attention to footwork and women pay attention to body language. At the same time, flamenco guitar became a unique guitar, and musicians who composed music for flamenco appeared.
