How to darken the background

Method of darkening the background: (1) With the help of background shadow. Let the subject be in a strong light environment and the background be in a dark environment. When the subject is exposed to strong light, the weak light environment of the background will darken.

(2) With the help of black background cloth. Black background cloth is often used in flower photography. Putting the cloth behind the flowers to be photographed can effectively create a black background.

(3) The high output of the flash darkens the background. By adjusting the angle and flash intensity of the flash, the subject can be illuminated in a dark environment, but the distant background cannot be illuminated. This method is often used in studios with darkened backgrounds.
