Source of inspiration-

The mountain on Pandora was partly inspired by Zhangjiajie in Wulingyuan, China, but it didn't come to Zhangjiajie in China for real shooting. In order to create the floating Hallelujah Mountain in the film, designers draw inspiration from "various types of mountains", "but mainly from the karst landform in China.
