Is there really a savage in Shennongjia?
But whether there is a "savage" in Shennongjia, CCTV's Journey of Discovery and Shanghai Science and Technology Literature Publishing House jointly launched the series of CCTV's Journey of Discovery and the Mystery of Savage. It vividly tells what kind of animal the so-called "savage" is and what origin it has with human beings, or that the so-called "savage" is just an illusory legend and so on. As early as 1950s, Zhou Guoxing, a paleoanthropologist and former deputy director of the Natural History Museum, became interested in the savage phenomenon. In the process of previous savage investigations, Zhou Guoxing led a team to personally visit a large number of savage witnesses and collected a large number of relevant physical evidence and clues. However, after a large number of investigations, it is found that most barbaric sightings are ultimately proved to be misjudged by known animals, and there are very few truly valuable discoveries. This makes us wonder, isn't the widely circulated savage theory a kind of catch-up of human beings?
In the voluminous ancient books in China, there have been many records about a mysterious humanoid animal. For example, there is a description in Shan Hai Jing: Xiao Yang, as a human being, has a face, long lips, black body and hair. He turns his back on everyone and smiles at everyone. The ape-like and human-like animals recorded in these ancient books are very similar to the "savage" circulating among the general population today. Are they the same animal? Does this legendary animal really exist? As we know, there are many legends about savages around the world: the savage in China, the "snowman" in the Himalayas, Almas in Mongolia, Chuna in Siberia, Chemost in Africa, Hebagon in Japan, Jovi in Australia, the "savage" in America (that is, bigfoot) and so on. Almost all the continents where human beings live have found traces of "savage". Perhaps, as ancient anthropologists said, the ancestors of savages may be a branch of primitive humans. After tens of thousands of years of vicissitudes, it has coexisted with human beings to this day. In this way, the evolution and reproduction of modern people are not alone, and savages are probably close relatives of human beings. If this conjecture is correct, is there a real mystery of human origin in Savage? 1967 American biologists Patterson and jim lee were riding horses in the Blue Bay Mountains in northern California when they suddenly saw a scene that they would never forget. Patterson started the camera while running-this is the world's first savage movie, with a duration of 17 seconds. When we look back at the short 17 second in history again, we find that the "savage" captured in the camera is very similar to modern people in both the posture of walking upright and the proportion of various parts of the body. If this savage is really a branch of primitive human ancestors, it should have evolved quite well. Although the lens of the film is very shaky, it gives people a feeling of being too perfect after watching it. As short as 17 seconds, the clear walking posture and vivid retrospect make people seem to have missed everything they want to see. This short film has caused great controversy in academic circles, and most people are skeptical about it. Is the so-called "bigfoot" just an artificial farce? 1980 yang feng, director of the office of science and technology commission of Lishui district, Zhejiang province, found samples of hands and feet soaked in potions in the storage room of a middle school. It is said that these hands and feet came from a savage who was killed and eaten by the local people. Director Zhou Guoxing said: "The investigation results at that time confirmed that it was a macaque in the mountains, with an average height of 1.2 meters. The so-called savage killed by Xu Fudi is such a monkey. " These undoubtedly pushed the savage to another realm.
Many years have passed, and the savage is still just a mysterious shadow. This shadow, like apes and humans, walks upright but is covered with hair. Who can uncover this fantastic legend? In Shennongjia, Hubei Province, almost every once in a while, people claim to have found savages, but are these witnesses reliable? Is it possible that people misjudge for some reason? People stay in the middle of the problem. On September 15, 2005, Zhang Jiahong, a villager from Group 5 of Muyu Town Horticultural Field in Shennongjia Forest Region, got up early in the morning and walked along the mountain ridge of Jinheling to Shennongding area to collect herbs. At about 14, when I went to the area around Hongyandongzi and continued to turn to Yinjiawan along the girder, I saw a clump of miscellaneous trees standing on the edge of low-lying land dozens of meters away, about 2 meters high and covered in purple hair. He noticed that it had no tail and stood upright like a human. Zhang Jiahong said that at that time, the animal turned its back on him. In order to see its face clearly, he learned the song of birds twice. The animal turned around and saw an ordinary face: hairy face, deep eyes, and a whole face similar to that of a human being, a bit like a monkey. His hair is 6 or 7 inches long, and there is no obvious difference between his color and his coat color. He also saw that after this animal walked out of 20 meters, another humanoid animal with the same coat color and a slightly smaller head and a height of about 1.8 meters came out of the Woods on the side, and soon disappeared one by one into the deeper Woods.
The ancient Shennongjia always has a mysterious temptation, attracting groups of explorers. Zhang Jinxing, a 54-year-old explorer, has been searching for savage/kloc-0 in Shennongjia for 5 years. On one occasion, Zhang Jinxing found a strange animal skull in the forest, and the location of this discovery was the most frequently rumored area of "Savage". Could this skull belong to the savage we are looking for? But it turned out that it was just a bear bone. So, is the "savage" an illusion caused by some kind of bear? Bears can walk upright, stand tall and have large footprints, much like humans. Does such a bear standing against a tree look like a long-haired "savage" from a distance? Shennongjia's vast virgin forest provides a good breeding environment for all kinds of animals living here, and there are also a large number of different kinds of bears here. Shennongjia was once called "Woong San" in history. Is the so-called "savage" really a misjudgment of the bear? Yu Jun is a legend of Shennongjia scientific research team. He hoped to have a chance to meet the savage, but all he saw was some suspicious traces. Yu Jun said: "These suspicious traces are by no means man-made, but they are probably a higher primate ..." There are many similar discoveries, but the legendary savage has never seen them.
About 6 million years ago, humans and apes split from a common ancestor, one evolved into modern apes such as chimpanzees and gorillas, and the other evolved into modern humans. About 2 million years ago, great apes separated from the mainstream of human evolution. Compared with modern great apes, great apes are more closely related to humans. However, when the great apes were in the heyday of development, they suddenly and mysteriously disappeared. People can't find any fossil evidence to prove that it existed in a later period of time. So is it possible that the great apes in history have not been completely extinct, but have survived stubbornly to this day? Expert Yuan Zhenxin said: "Humans are a lonely species. If there are really great apes who survive, it is of great significance. " Since 1978, a large number of anthropoid tooth fossils have been found in two caves in Jianshi, Hubei and Wushan, Chongqing. These fossils were found together with Shennongjia in the Qinling Mountains. It seems that in history, apes did live widely in this area. Could the ancestors of the legendary savage in Shennongjia be ancient apes? Two million years ago, at the beginning of the Quaternary Glacier, giant pandas, great apes and saber-toothed elephants were widely distributed in southern China. A rare glacier changed all this. With the change of nature and the deterioration of the environment, many members of this fauna no longer exist in the south of China, some are extinct and some have migrated, but some animals have survived this catastrophe. At the beginning of the 20th century, people began to know that the giant panda survived for millions of years and became today's "living fossil". By analogy, will the descendants of apes have the same experience? If the big savage does exist, will it be a descendant of the great ape? Great apes have huge heads, and if compared with people, the proportion is even more than four times. This is a well-deserved "giant". Zhou Guoxing said: "The possibility of great apes is very small, and the theory of great apes is only human imagination." So, should there be such a possibility that the witnesses only saw some immature apes, and their postures were not mature? However, in this way, new problems have arisen. Some zoologists have raised objections that a biological species must have a certain population number and density if it wants to survive and reproduce. And the legendary "savage", the number should be extremely rare. As an isolated individual, what does it rely on to survive in the cruel natural competition? If the so-called "savage" does have a certain scale of animal population, then why is our search still fruitless? In a word, the debate about savages seems to be at an impasse. No matter "orangutan theory" or "great ape theory", there is no definite evidence, and all conclusions are just speculation. The crux of the problem lies in the lack of living evidence of a savage. A few days ago, "Monkey Baby" broadcast by CCTV's "Journey of Discovery" attracted much attention from scientists. In Zengjiapo, Changyang, Hubei Province, it is said that a woman was once taken away by a savage and soon gave birth to a child named Zeng Fansheng. The child's behavior is very similar to that of a monkey, and the locals call him "Monkey Baby". From the appearance, "Monkey Baby" is a typical dementia patient who died in 2000. Later, scientists obtained the bones of the "monkey baby" and sent them to Beijing. The famous paleontologist Zhang Zhenbiao presided over the scientific test, but unfortunately, the identification result was a cerebellar disease. Although the "monkey baby" thing finally went away. However, the study of savages in the world has not stopped there. In the west, savage, UFO, Loch Ness monster and Bermuda Triangle are called "four natural mysteries". The mystery of "savage" is a mystery about human beings, which has attracted more and more scientists' attention. In March, 2000, researchers used electron microscope to compare and analyze the "savage" hair collected by several scientific research teams in Shennongjia recently. Professor Yuan Zhenxin thinks it is a primate, but Feng Ruojian said, "Their identification is problematic." Yuan Zhenxin said, "This thing is very clever and cunning. I can't find it." But Feng Ruojian thinks: "If there is, why can't you find it?"
So far, more than 300 people have found different traces of "savage" in different places in Shennongjia area, but no one has really caught a living "savage". Where the hell are the barbarians? Is there a "savage" in Shennongjia? At present, experts at home and abroad have two kinds of judgments, but what will be the result? What we are left with is to continue to pay attention, hoping that one day we can really find the savage, thus solving the mystery of Shennongjia about the savage!
