The beautiful town at the junction of Ankang and Shangluo in the Qinling Mountains is unknown to the outside world, but it is so beautiful and leisurely.

Recently, I have been to the Qinling Mountains many times. I didn’t go to the scenic spots, but I always went to some remote small towns, towns and villages. I walked slowly and leisurely in the depths of the mountains and among the people in the mountains with my backpack on my back. In the world, pass by beautiful scenery and people in the mountains, listen to forgotten stories, and then patiently record them. This kind of trip can be a bit lonely and even miserable, but it makes people feel calmer and more like it.

During the journey, you can always find some beautiful small places. Due to the lack of publicity and development, although the scenery is very good, no one pays attention to and knows about it - this is the case of Renhekou Town in Xunyang, Ankang.

Renhekou Town is perhaps the most remote township in Xunyang, 75 kilometers away from the county seat and at the junction of Hanbin District of Ankang City, Xunyang City (county-level city) and Zhenan County of Shangluo City place.

The mountains surrounding here rise from the ground, blocking the space airtight like a curtain. Only where the river flows, there are several long and narrow valleys, which have become places for people to live. Every rainy day, there will be clouds and mist hovering on the mountains for a long time and filling the valleys.

Xunhe River, a tributary of the Han River, originates near the main ridge of the Qinling Mountains in Chang'an District, Xi'an, flows through Ankang, Ningshan, Shangluo Zhen'an, and enters Xunyang at Renhekou Town. At the same time, the Daren River from Zhen'an also flows into the Xun River here. The town located at the intersection of the two rivers has a name closely related to the river - Renhekou Town.

After consulting the information on the Internet, I learned that Renhekou Town covers an area of ??88 square kilometers and only about 7,000 to 8,000 people live here. Among them, the market town in the center of the town has a permanent population of more than 1,000 people. They live along the south and north banks of the river, forming two streets, one south and one north. The bridges on the river connect the north and south in the mountains.

Although Renhekou Town is located in a relatively remote location, it was once a flood-drought dock in history because of the river flowing through it. Today, the transportation is still considered convenient. The main artery 211 National Highway and Xikang Expressway are only about 30 kilometers away. In addition, it is located on the border of Xunyang and Zhenan, and the township buses in the two counties will pass through the market town, which brings a bit of prosperity and liveliness to it.

For tourists who like mountains, rivers and tranquility, Renhekou is actually a suitable place to stay and stay.

There are scenic spots here. 8 kilometers away from the market town is "Shuiquanping". Surrounding this pastoral area on the mountain, there are also scenic spots such as Bengyun Canyon and Wangmang Mountain, all of which are open to tourists free of charge.

But in fact, there is no place in Renhekou Town that is not beautiful. The mountains here are green and high, and the water here is clear and green. You can drive along any road, You can enjoy beautiful scenery while walking.

I once walked from Wangmangshan Village all the way down through Shuiquanping and all the way to Renhekou Town. The 12-kilometer journey was so beautiful that people forgot about their fatigue.

The only shortcoming may be that there are no relatively high-end hotels and B&Bs here. After tourists arrive here, most of them can only stay in farmhouses. The highest-end hotel in town costs 120 yuan for a standard room. /Night's "VIP Building". But the food here has gradually become a system. Even the simple farmhouse in the valley at the foot of Wangmang Mountain has a sign of "farmhouse food for 300 yuan per table."

However, it is precisely because of its commercial inexperience that tourists can see a Qinling Mountain Township that is still simple and original.

1. Self-driving: Navigate to "Renhekou Town", about 180 kilometers from the center of Xi'an, and the drive takes about 3 hours. First, take the Xikang Expressway to the "Xiaohe" toll station and get off the expressway, then take the 211 National Highway to "Lianghekou", and then follow Liangsan Road and Rensha Road to "Renhekou Town".

2. By bus: Take train k5456 from Xi'an and arrive at Xiaohe Town Station at about 1 pm. After exiting the station, take a minibus to "Renhekou Town"; you can also take train from Xi'an Railway Station or Chengnan Passenger Transport Station Take the Zhen'an bus and transfer to the shuttle bus to Daren Town to "Renhekou" in Xunyang.
