How to use digital video camera

Speaking of digital cameras, we are certainly no strangers. In our life, we have more or less had contact with them and have a certain understanding of them. So how should we use digital cameras? The following is how to use the digital video camera I have compiled, hoping to help you!

How to use digital video camera

1. Install the lens: the camera can only be used after installing the lens, and the lens needs to be selected according to the actual situation. When installing the lens, first remove the protective cover of the camera and lens, and then gently screw the lens into the camera lens excuse, be sure to install it in place and not loosen it.

2. Adjust the aperture and focal length of the lens: Turn off the electronic shutter and backlight compensation switch on the camera, then aim the camera at the place where you want to shoot, and adjust the aperture and focus ring of the lens accordingly, so that the rabbit effect you see on the display can reach the best state. If the camera is used in the situation where the illumination changes greatly, it is best to use the lens with automatic aperture, and pay attention to closing the electronic shutter of the camera.

3. Adjustment of the back focal length: The back focal length also has a back focal length, which means that after a standard lens is installed on the camera, the image of the subject can be established on the target surface of the CCD image sensor. Generally speaking, it is not allowed to adjust the back focus of the camera in some occasions where fixed-focus lenses are used, because the back focus of the camera is usually adjusted when it leaves the factory. But if the image is not clear when shooting, then the interface of the lens should be checked first. If the interface is correct, then the back focus of the camera should be adjusted accordingly.

Common problems in the use of digital cameras

First, the reason why autofocus is not clear

1. Objects with one of the following properties will make the camera out of focus: objects with dark surfaces; Objects that are shiny or reflect too much light; Objects with too little contrast; A fast-moving object; An object whose part is close to the camera and the other part is too far away. Such as white walls, water, glass, etc. When shooting an object with the above characteristics, it is best to use manual zoom.

2. After a long period of still shooting, the autofocus motor will generate inertia (i.e. "inertia at rest" or "inertia at rest"), and the camera may not focus clearly when moving to shoot other subjects. At this time, as long as you press the push-pull button to zoom quickly or move the camera, you can start the focus motor and focus automatically. If the frequency of use is high, then after two or three years, the camera is particularly prone to this situation.

Second, the camera automatically stops protecting?

1. The camera will stop automatically after 6 minutes without any operation. If you use this camera in the studio or other occasions, it is impossible to stop suddenly. In fact, the solution to this problem is very simple. As long as you take the video tape out of the tape, the problem will be solved. Because the mini DV video tape is a metal tape, it is particularly easy to wear the head, so after 6 minutes, the camera will automatically stop protecting the head without receiving operation instructions. Once the video tape is taken out, it will not stop because of protecting the head, and the camera can work continuously.

2. When moisture has condensed inside the camera and on the video tape, the camera will automatically protect itself from working, and it will automatically turn off after a few seconds. Don't start the machine by force at this time, it is easy to damage the magnetic head and cause irreparable loss. The best way to remove the moisture in the camera is to put the camera in a ventilated place, and then use it after an hour or two, and the machine will return to normal. In case of emergency, you can also use an electric fan, a hair dryer or the natural wind of an air conditioner to blow dry. It must be noted that hot air or cold air cannot be used, otherwise it will affect the service life of the camera.

3. When the surface of the video tape is scratched or uneven, the camera will also stop to protect the magnetic head. At this point, special attention should be paid to the operation, otherwise the tape will be entangled and the video tape can no longer be used. The correct operation method is: turn off the power of the camera immediately when it is automatically protected. After a minute or so, turn off the power supply, take out the video tape and check the scratches on the surface of the video tape. If there are many or deep scratches, stop using this video tape immediately; If the scratch is not serious, you can turn on the power of the camera, put in the video tape, switch the camera to the video playback state (VTR), use the fast-forward function (you can't use play, otherwise the head will be damaged), and let go of the scratched place, and the video tape can continue to be used.

Third, battery protection.

The batteries used in DV digital cameras are lithium-ion batteries, which are very popular because of their small size, light weight and no memory effect in charge and discharge. The model of lithium-ion battery we use is VW-VBD1E. "Battery pack" is printed on the battery, which means "battery pack". In fact, the battery is made up of several small batteries. Moreover, the life of each small battery (referring to the number of charges) is limited. Therefore, it should be noted that although the lithium battery has no memory effect, it can be charged without discharge, but it is best to charge it after discharge. Otherwise, the last part of electricity will never be released until the battery is scrapped, which is a great waste. Our company has several such batteries, which can only be fully charged for 5 minutes, and people seldom use them.

In addition, it should be noted that the battery should be taken out when the camera is not used for a long time, so as not to cause the battery to discharge and lead to the inability to charge. Because even if the camera is turned off, it will still reduce the battery power.

Fourth, the use of video tapes.

The video tape used by DV digital camera is a quarter-inch mini DV video tape, which is small in size and can be used repeatedly. If the video tape is scratched, you'd better stop using it. Because the tripod head of DV digital camera is very small and delicate, it is easy to be damaged. Therefore, the scratched or deformed video tape must be replaced in time to avoid damaging the magnetic head.

In addition, when using VHS camera, you can connect the damaged video tape base with transparent tape, but you can't connect the mini DV video tape like this. It is also easy to damage the camera.
