Difference between fluorescent paint and luminous paint

Fluorescent paint refers to the paint colored with sunlight fluorescent pigment. The fluorescent pigment contained in the fluorescent paint can absorb the short wave of visible light, and then reflect these short waves into visible fluorescence, thus making the surface coated with fluorescent paint more eye-catching under the irradiation of light. If there is no light on the surface coated with fluorescent paint, the light will naturally stop.

Luminous coatings can be divided into two types. One is temporary luminous paint, and the other is new luminous paint. Temporary luminous paint is composed of phosphorescent pigments such as calcium, barium and chromium. Using the light storage characteristics of phosphorescent pigment, it can shine in the dark for several hours. Type A luminous paint is a kind of luminous paint containing trace radioactive elements, and some radioactive elements such as tritium and radium are added to the paint. The luminescence of radioactive elements can be used to continuously emit light in the dark.
