Alfred Stieglitz's School of Photography Separation

"Photographic Separatist", also known as "the king of photographic destruction", was founded by ALFREDSTIEGLITZ, who is known as "the father of modern American photography".

1902, he exhibited the works of himself and other painters he found in the National Art Club. He named the exhibition "Circuit Breaker of Photography", which meant to break away from the popular photo photography at that time. Remind people that photo photography is not a foil to art, but a unique means of expressing oneself. At first, the photographer's creative direction was mainly photo photography, influenced by impressionist painting, but not long after, Stie Gerriets began to oppose making photos through painting and advocated pure photography. He proposed that photography should pay more attention to the laws and characteristics of photography itself when expressing individual personality, so as to make photography more pure and independent of painting.
