Using DJI drone to shoot time-lapse photography, how to make the drone hover?

At present, only Mavic 2 series models (except Mavic 2 industrial version) support time-lapse photography.

After starting time-delay photography, you can choose four time-delay photography modes: free time-delay (you can control the pitch angle and pan/tilt of the aircraft), surround time-delay (flying around the shooting target as the center line), directional time-delay (locking the course of the aircraft) and trajectory time-delay (flying according to the preset trajectory).
