What are the advantages and disadvantages of paraxial head-up camera and SLR camera in use?

Advantages of paraxial:

1. The visual range is not limited by the lens, and the surrounding environment can be observed beyond the imaging range of the lens.

2, no reflector, small size and small vibration.

3, the flange distance is small, and the lens can adopt a symmetrical structure, so that the wide-angle end imaging is more secure.

Disadvantages:

1, the view is parallax, and macro and telephoto cannot be realized. Leica's 90 micron has only a magnification of 1:3, while SLR can achieve1:1; The longest paraxial lens is only 135mm, so the focusing accuracy is not high.

2. Generally, the viewfinder has a fixed magnification, so it is impossible to make all lenses comfortable to use. For example, Leica and Fu Lunda have three kinds of viewfinder with different magnifications in the same model, so as to adapt to lenses with different focal lengths.

3, because it is not from the lens, it is very difficult to use adjustable filters, such as polarizers, and the effect is quite unreliable.

The disadvantage of paraxial is basically the advantage of SLR, and the disadvantage of SLR is basically the advantage of paraxial.

In addition, paraxial lenses are generally not connected to SLR lenses for two reasons.

1, telephoto and macro lenses can't be used for the above reasons, but paraxial lenses in the middle focus part are rarely used.

2. The 50, 35 and wide-angle parts commonly used in paraxial lenses are better than SLR lenses, and the volume is small. There is no need to change bigger and worse SLR lenses.
