Articles of Association of Ningxia Photographers Association

Chapter I General Principles

Article 1 Photographers Association of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is a mass organization of photographers in Ningxia, a group member of China Photographers Association and Ningxia Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and a bridge and link between the party and the government and the photography art circle.

Article 2 The purpose of this Association is to adhere to the guidance of Marxism–Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and Theory of Three Represents, comprehensively implement Scientific Outlook on Development, widely unite photographers in the region, implement the Party's basic line, adhere to the direction of literature and art serving the people and socialism, adhere to the policy of "letting a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend", and adhere to the principle of "being close to reality, life and the masses" to prosper the photography industry in our region and build harmony.

Chapter II Appointment

Article 3 The Association encourages and helps its members to go deep into their lives, strengthen their artistic practice, and advocate photography creation with different styles while actively creating photography works with national style and characteristics of the times.

Article 4 Organize members to carry out research and discussion on photography art and technical theory; Hold an exhibition of photographic works of art; Summarize and exchange creative experience.

Fifth, actively cultivate authors of different creative types and attach importance to the cultivation of Hui writers.

Sixth, give full play to the service function, actively support grassroots photography organizations, guide the amateur photography activities of the masses, develop members in a planned way, and continuously expand the photography team.

Seventh, strengthen the contact with the national photography community and carry out foreign photography exchanges.

Article 8 Organize members, create conditions, and actively participate in various photography activities organized by China Photographers Association and at home and abroad.

Chapter III Members

Article 9 Anyone who recognizes the articles of association, makes great efforts in photography creation, has been selected into two photography exhibitions at the autonomous region level or has published his works in publications above the autonomous region level, and has made certain achievements in photography theory, editing, film criticism, darkroom, teaching, organization and leadership, etc., can apply for membership.

Article 10 Anyone who wishes to join the club needs to be recommended by two members or local municipal photography institutions, fill in an application form for joining the club with four photographs or works, and become a club member after being approved by the club presidium meeting.

Article 11 Members of this Association who wish to join the China Photographers Association shall apply and report to the China Photographers Association after deliberation.

Article 12 All members of the China Photographers Association in this district are ex officio members of this association, and all members of this association are ex officio members of municipal associations.

Article 13 Entrepreneurs who have made great contributions to the association and often pay attention to the development of photography can become honorary members and honorary directors of the association with the approval of the presidium meeting.

Article 14 Members shall enjoy the following rights:

1. has the right to make suggestions, supervise, criticize and negotiate with the superior organization.

2. Have the right to vote and stand for election.

3. Have the right to participate in various activities organized by the Association.

When a person's work is infringed, he can ask the association to protect his work according to the national copyright and implementation regulations.

Article 15 Members shall perform the following obligations:

1. Abide by the articles of association, implement the resolutions of the association, care about the work of the association, and pay membership fees according to regulations;

2. Actively complete various tasks entrusted by the Association and participate in various activities organized by the Association.

Article 16 If a member is punished by law for committing a crime, deprived of his civil rights, violates the articles of association of this Association, undermines the work of this Association, or engages in illegal activities under the pretext of this Association, his membership shall be cancelled or suspended with the approval of the meeting of the presidium of this Association.

Seventeenth members have the freedom to withdraw from the meeting, but they need to apply in person and be confirmed by the presidium meeting. If a member fails to pay the membership fee and does not participate in the activity for a long time without justifiable reasons, it will be deemed as automatic withdrawal.

Chapter IV Weaving

Article 18 The organizing principle of this Association is democratic centralism. The highest authority of the association is the member congress. When the Congress is not in session, the Council is responsible for the work of the Association. When the Council is not in session, the Bureau is responsible for the work of the Council.

Article 19 The Congress is held every five years, and it can be held in advance or postponed when necessary.

Article 20 The board of directors consists of a certain number of directors, who are elected by the general meeting of members. The Council meets once a year and is convened by the presidium. If necessary, the meeting can be held in advance or postponed. If more than one third of the directors propose to convene an interim meeting of directors, the presidium must convene it.

Article 21 The meeting of the Council shall elect a chairman, vice-chairmen and several members. Nominated by the chairman and approved by the Council, a secretary-general and several deputy secretaries-general are appointed, and the presidium consists of the chairman, vice-chairman, members of the presidium and the secretary-general The Secretary-General and the Deputy Secretary-General shall assist the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman in handling the daily work of the Association.

Article 22 The Association shall set up several art committees, which can independently carry out activities under the leadership of the Association, and the persons in charge of the art committees shall be discussed and decided by the presidium meeting.

Twenty-third according to the needs of the work, the association has an honorary chairman and consultant. The honorary chairman and adviser are recommended and appointed by the presidium.

Article 24 The Association is guided by the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of the Autonomous Region and the China Photographers Association.

Chapter V Economic Expenses

Twenty-fifth sources of funds of the Association:

1, state funding;

2. Membership fee;

3. Funding from all walks of life;

4. Other lawful income.

Chapter VI Supplementary Provisions

Article 26 The right to amend the articles of association of this Association belongs to the general meeting of members.

Article 27 The right to interpret the articles of association of this Association belongs to the Council of this Association.
