The great space prophet was arthur clarke.

Arthur Clark, British science fiction writer. Most of his sci-fi works are based on science, and many predictions in his novels have come true. In particular, his description of satellite communication is surprisingly consistent with the actual development, so the geosynchronous satellite orbit is named "Clark orbit".

His works include The End of Childhood (1953), Moondust Falling (196 1), Voice from the Sky (1965) and Imperial Land (1976). He also co-produced the innovative sci-fi movie 200 1 A Space Odyssey.

He became a Sri Lankan citizen in 2008.
