What is the FSA documentary movement?

The FSA documentary campaign refers to the organized and planned documentary photography activities carried out by the history department under the Agricultural Safety Bureau during the period of 1935 ~ 1943 to investigate the Great Agricultural Depression in the United States. It took 8 years for * * * to shoot 250,000 negatives, which is the largest documentary practice in the history of photography. The images recorded the whole picture of the Great Depression in the United States in a comprehensive and detailed way, and became precious historical materials reflecting that historical era.
