A brief introduction to the plot in the post-revolutionary era

The ground is floating dust, and the ground is dirt.

Although the soil is fertile, it can only feed on dreams.

After nearly five years, he filmed the rock documentary Post-revolutionary Era, and recorded the music, life and living state of China underground rock band at the turn of the century with postmodern structure.

A Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival shows the current underground rock music in China.

A notebook to understand the current situation of music and the living state of music in China. A poem about the passionate years of young people in China.

Through the post-revolutionary mentality very similar to that of the United States in the 1960s, we can see the rapid development of China in the future.

Zhang Yang, who holds many positions in the Chinese rock circle, filmed with his good friend Lola as a freelance photographer this time, and later carefully edited and produced his DV work Post-revolutionary Times. This documentary is one of the most famous documentary works of contemporary underground rocks in China. Beginning with the Midi Music Festival in 2002 and 200 1, Shucun's musical life, the performance of Happy Paradise, the painting and performance art creation outside Happy Paradise, and "autumn insects" were interspersed. Along this clue, the creator's lens records the optimistic and idealistic musicians' persistence in art, the embarrassment of their living conditions, and the state of young people on and off the stage. Rock scenes account for a large proportion in this documentary. At that time, tomahawk, sick pupa, Twisted Machine and cold-blooded animals stood on the stage, which was a memorial to the people at that time and also a display to future generations. Finally, the tongue said at the midi scene of 0 1: Rock music is not important, what matters is yourselves.

This documentary, which has been filmed for nearly five years, is like a Qingming Riverside Map recording contemporary underground rock music in China and a notebook recording the living conditions of contemporary music in China, with a post-revolutionary mentality very similar to that of crossing the United States in the 1960s. In those years, Zhang Yang devoted all his energy and financial resources and went through hardships. He went deep into the underground music base camp "Shucun" and worked and lived with many bands and artists, which was a kind of zero-distance contact. At that time, the living conditions of musicians and those unknown experiences, as well as the hardships, joys, losses and bewilderment, were clearly recorded. Real reproduction, as subtle as washing vegetables and cooking. This film consists of three parts: wonderful performance fragments of previous Midi Music Festival before 2003, interviews and self-reports of musicians and artists, and several groups of live performances of action art, with distinct themes and unique perspectives. Recorded in DVD format, the film is 96 minutes long, with Mandarin, Chinese subtitles and stereo, and it is the best underground video work so far. After nearly five years of hard work, this work lasted for eight hours. For some reasons, we can only see the condensed version of it for nearly 100 minutes. The film will be released overseas soon, and the domestic version will be exclusively represented by Fu Sheng record store.
