As can be seen from the map, Kedah is located in the northernmost part of Malaysia, adjacent to Thailand. It was once an independent Sultanate ruled by Siam and later became a state of Malaysia.

A Chang, the male owner, had a car accident in his back neighbor's house because of a conflict with his neighbor. Aunt Kaew, the neighbor's daughter-in-law, blamed Achang, so she bowed to Achang, causing Achang to lose her labor force and spit nails. A Chang's wife, A Yan, didn't believe in these ghosts and gods at first, but after trying all kinds of treatments failed, she had to turn to mountain gods and wizards for help.
