What's the story of the Wizard of Oz?

The story is: Dorothy, the protagonist, is an ordinary little girl in America. One day, she and her cabin were blown away by a tornado and landed in a strange country called Oz.

Adults here are only as tall as Dorothy, and the southeast and northwest are ruled by a witch. There is a emerald city in the center of this country, where the ruler is the great wizard Oz.

In order to return to her hometown, Dorothy went to emerald city and asked Oz for help. Along the way, she met a scarecrow who wanted a brain, a tin woodcutter who wanted a heart, and a timid lion who wanted courage. They went hand in hand and became good friends.

After many adventures, the scarecrow, the tin man and the lion all got what they wanted. Finally, Dorothy returned to her relatives' home with a pair of magical silver shoes.

Appreciation: The Wizard of Oz is a reflection and expression of foreign literary writers on education. They speculate on education through a little girl's trip.

The author taught the little girl three things: independence, learning to express and communicate, learning to get along with others, gaining a sense of honor, and making her a person with a sense of identity and responsibility.

Throughout today's society, many parents are very fond of their daughters, which is not a good phenomenon, but makes their daughters lose their ability to survive and compete.

Natural selection, survival of the fittest, this kind of education can not only benefit children, but also inspire them, which deserves our consideration.
