Jian Xu is committed to shooting powerful wildlife photography reports in China, making excellent wildlife documentaries in China, and promoting nature conservation in China through the power of images. Before becoming a freelance wildlife photographer, he worked for National Geographic magazine of China, covering wildlife in China. Later, he became one of the main founders of chinese national geography Youth Natural History Magazine. In 2006, he worked in the Natural History Department of the BBC, and was a member of the HD China wildlife documentary Beautiful China. He is also one of the main members of the studio "Wild China", the most famous wildlife imaging agency in China. He was also one of the instructors of the previous "China Wildlife Photography Training Camp" founded in 2004. Now he is one of the contracted photographers in chinese national geography.
