What are the main contents and sections of internal journals?
I have been engaged in corporate culture for nearly 10 years, and once served as editor-in-chief of internal magazines in two enterprises. Let me briefly talk about my own experience.
1. Premise: To have a comprehensive understanding of the current situation, corporate culture, preferences of employees and bosses, it is recommended to conduct some practical research. Only when you are fully prepared can you be confident;
2. Tonality: Since it is an internal publication, it is necessary to take into account the characteristics of the enterprise and the characteristics of the publication. Don't simply make it a microphone and document dissemination tool for enterprises, and of course it can't be a comprehensive media publication or even a gossip publication. According to my experience, the internal publication mainly caters to the needs of enterprises and reflects the spirit and culture of enterprises, but it also gives employees sufficient display space, so as to gain the support and recognition of the boss, win the hearts of employees and keep their vitality;
3. Blocking: Don't rush to determine specific columns. You can divide the layout of the internal magazine into several sections according to the purpose and use of the internal magazine, and then column it under each section. The section should be atmospheric, and it can be called by the customary names of two characters, three characters and four characters in China traditional culture, such as "looking at the world" and "latitude and longitude";
4. Sub-columns: According to the definition of columns, the columns are specifically divided. For example, the column "Looking at the World" is mainly defined as internal and external news, information and current affairs reports of enterprises, so the column can be divided into "industry trends", "a glimpse of XX" and "focus memory".
5. Content: As mentioned above, the core of the internal magazine must be enterprise-oriented, and the content should be closely organized around the internal and external points of the enterprise, which can be reports, people and interviews, business management discussions, introduction of major projects of the enterprise, skills explanation and training, or contributions in the form of special topics, employee experiences, employee talent shows, serials, relaxed and lively essays, poems and photos. Of course, if you want to run a more professional publication, you can also increase internal recruitment, rationalization suggestions, employee email replies and so on according to the characteristics of the enterprise.
