Brief introduction of art college of Qiqihar University

The Art College of Qiqihar University is located in the beautiful Labor Lake in Qiqihar, the hometown of the famous Chinese charming city Red-crowned Crane. It is the base for cultivating talents in art design, music and fine arts in the western part of Heilongjiang Province. The college has an art center building of 24,000 square meters. Excellent teaching environment, advanced and complete teaching facilities, high-level teachers with dedication, high-quality teaching level, advanced talent training mode and scientific and modern management have laid a solid foundation for cultivating artistic talents with extensive scientific and cultural knowledge, profound artistic accomplishment, exquisite skills and strong innovation ability.

The college consists of art design departments (industrial product plastic art design, visual communication art design, decorative art design, fashion design and costume performance, environmental art and interior design, computer advertising and animation art design), music department (normal class), music performance department (vocal singing, keyboard performance, instrumental performance, computer music production and dance choreography), art department (normal class) and painting department (traditional Chinese painting and oil painting). There are more than 2,700 undergraduates and 30 graduate students.

The college has 0/64 teachers, including 54 professors and associate professors, 24 doctors and masters, and employs more than 20 internationally and domestically renowned visiting professors. Among the teachers are well-known experts in art and design education in China, music professors who have won national invention patents, young conductors who have won gold medals in international and national command for many times, and young teachers who won prizes in the National Young TV Singers Competition.

The college pays attention to academic exchanges and has a strong academic atmosphere. Famous scholars from German, British, Russian, Canadian, Austrian, Korean, Malaysian, Japanese, Hongkong, Macau, Taiwan Province and other countries and regions are often invited to give lectures or give lectures. Frequent academic exchanges with Korea University, Niigata University in Japan and many universities in Russia. Teachers are also sent abroad to study and give lectures in a planned way. Successfully held the International Forum of Modern Design Experts and the First China Linen Clothing Design Competition of Jinding Cup, hosted the first national glass art seminar, and exhibited 12 famous China painters in China. By drawing lessons from advanced teaching experience and teaching ideas at home and abroad, the college actively explores the reform of school-running mode, greatly improves the teaching level, and continuously enhances its social influence, thus cultivating a large number of outstanding artistic talents for the country and society. Yao Yingjia, head of the torch design team for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and vice president of Lenovo Group, is an outstanding representative of outstanding graduates of our college.

This university has complete teaching facilities. It has a modern digital piano collective classroom and a computer music production classroom with complete musical instruments, including a music appreciation room, a modern concert hall, a concert hall, a ballroom and a rehearsal hall. CAD classroom, costume design laboratory, sculpture laboratory, photography laboratory, art exhibition hall, skylight classroom and sufficient teaching equipment have laid a sufficient material foundation for the cultivation of artistic talents.
