How to cast screen from mobile phone to monitor

If you are using a Huawei mobile phone, take the Huawei P40 mobile phone as an example:

1. Wired screen projection

1. Use a Type-C adapter to cast the screen Screen

(1) Prepare Type-C adapter cable.

One end of the Type-C adapter cable is Type-C, and the other end can be HDMI, DP or MiniDP, etc. Please choose the appropriate adapter cable according to the port of the large-screen device.

(2) Connect the mobile phone to the Type-C port and the large-screen device to the other end.

(3) On the large screen, switch the input signal source to the HDMI, DP or MiniDP port corresponding to the adapter cable.

2. Use the docking station device to mirror the screen

Use the docking station device to mirror the screen. You can connect your phone to the large screen and access and use a wired keyboard and mouse at the same time.

(1) Prepare the docking station equipment.

The docking station supports Type-C to multiple ports. For example, if a large-screen device is connected to an HDMI port, a Type-C to HDMI + USB + USB docking station can be used.

(2) Plug the mobile phone and large-screen device into the docking station through the adapter cable, and plug the USB keyboard and mouse into the USB interface of the docking station.

(3) On the large screen, switch the input signal source to the HDMI, DP or MiniDP port corresponding to the adapter cable.

2. Wireless screen projection

1. According to the model and function of your large-screen device, choose the following operations:

If you do not know whether the large-screen device To support the Miracast protocol or how to enable wireless projection on a large screen, you can consult the manual of the large screen device or consult the device manufacturer.

If the large screen supports the Miracast protocol, turn on the wireless projection setting switch on the large screen.

If the large screen does not support the Miracast protocol, plug the wireless screen projector into the HDMI port of the large screen and connect the power cord of the wireless screen projector.

2. On the mobile phone, pull out the notification panel from the status bar at the top of the screen, and click the wireless network icon to turn on WLAN.

3. Continue to slide down the entire menu, turn on wireless screen mirroring, and the phone will start searching for large-screen devices.

You can also go to Settings > More Connections > Mobile Screen Mirroring and turn on the wireless mirroring switch.

4. Select the corresponding large-screen device name in the device list to complete the screencasting.

If you are using a wireless screen projector, select the wireless screen projector device name.
