He has been engaged in photography for more than 20 years and has long been obsessed with Qingdao historical architecture photography and historical data collection. He took tens of thousands of photos and his works often appeared in magazines and newspapers. 1995 won the bronze prize of "China Spring" national photography exhibition; 1996 was selected for the "Lovely China" exhibition abroad; 1999 was included in The Complete Works of Photographers in China; In 2003, he was selected into "Qingdao First International Photography Invitational Exhibition" and "China-Korea Cultural Exchange Exhibition" and won the "Second Qingdao Top Ten Photography". In the exploration of German-style architecture in Qingdao and the history of German occupation of Qingdao, according to historical photos and related written records, on March 8, 2008, the site of Dietrich Stone, a monument of German occupation of Qingdao, buried in the depths of history for 86 years, was engraved with the mark that Germany and Japan occupied Qingdao successively and violated China's sovereignty. The discovery of this relic has played an important role in the study of Qingdao's military history, colonial history and urban history. In 2002, 2007 and 2008, Shandong TV Station and Qingdao TV Station respectively made special reports on their photography creation activities and the collection and discovery of Qingdao historical materials.
