The finalists of the 3rd Beijing International Film Festival

Through the official Weibo, the Organizing Committee of the Beijing International Film Festival officially announced the 15 films shortlisted by the main competition unit of the Temple of Heaven Award, the core activity of this film festival. Two China films were shortlisted, Xiaogang Feng's 1942 and Jing Wong's "An Arrow Through the Heart".

It is understood that as of registration, the Tiantan Award has received 53/kloc-0 films from 56 countries and regions, with rich themes, diverse types and high overall level, which fully reflects the international influence of the Beijing International Film Festival.

After three rounds of primary selection, re-selection and final selection, the Tiantan Award Film Selection Committee selected 15 short-listed films from the registered films to compete for the Tiantan Award. Awards include: Best Film Award, Best Director Award, Best Actor Award, Best Actress Award, Best Supporting Actor Award, Best Supporting Actress Award, Best Screenplay Award, Best Photography Award, Best Music Award and Best Screenplay Award.
