1825 What method was used to take the scenery outside the window?
Nipps's Scenery Outside the Window is the first photographic work in the world. It is the scenery outside the skylight of his French attic that he took with his homemade camera at 1827.
Nieps was made by putting a metal plate coated with asphalt into the camera, then exposing the scenery outside the window for eight hours with sunlight and the original lens, and then washing it with lavender oil, and finally making this landscape photo, which is considered as the first Zhang Yongjiu photo. His shooting method is called "daylight photography".
But Niepce can't be regarded as "the inventor of photography", because his photography methods have been kept secret and refused to be made public, so his position in the history of photography has never been recognized. Later, Daguerre, the partner of Nipps, based on his previous thoughts and research results, and Daguerre's own efforts, filmed "A Corner of the Studio" with "silver photography" at 1837.
Silver photography in Daguerre is to expose a copper plate coated with silver iodide, then smoke it on heated mercury vapor, and then fix it with salt solution. It took him 30 minutes to finish this photo. Daguerre's "silver plate photography" was purchased by the French government and became the common wealth of all mankind, so this day was recognized as the birth day of photography.
Extended data:
This photo was last exhibited in public at 1898, and it has been well preserved so far. At present, the value of this photo has surpassed the oil painting Mona Lisa.
The significance of this photo is far greater than the content expressed in the photo itself. Everything on it is the crystallization of human wisdom, drawing the most important stroke in the history of photography. In the history of mankind, many inventors, such as Cai Lun's papermaking, Edison's telephone and the Wright brothers' plane, have made landmark inventions for mankind.
For centuries, their wisdom has influenced our lives in countless different ways. However, we usually take their efforts for granted. In fact, the world needs to be better. Now we need inventors more than ever. Inventors are heroes.
1827, Nepps came to England with his masterpiece, hoping to be recognized by the Royal Society, but he failed to do so. 1829 cooperated with Daguerre to improve photography. Unfortunately, on July 5th, 1833, Niepce died suddenly at the age of 68.
His research results were inherited and developed by his collaborators. 1839, the French Academy of Science and Art announced that Daguerre had obtained the patent of photography, which is now "Daguerre Silver Plate Photography" in our textbook, but Nipps's name was omitted, and Daguerre was awarded the title of inventor of photography, and his works were handed down to future generations.
Nipps was down and out all his life, and only a broken original and a copy he painstakingly invented were handed down from generation to generation. Although his descendants won the honor that should have belonged to him through legal means, Nipps's name was always hidden behind the dazzling aura of Daguerre, which seemed desolate and lonely.
