The 87th edition of Dream of Red Mansions was filmed in Beijing Grand View Garden. Located in the southwest corner of the Second Ring Road in Beijing, the Grand View Garden is a garden built by imitating the description in the classic Dream of Red Mansions. The original site was the Royal Garden of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, where the "Jiashufu" was set up in the Ming Dynasty, and it was also the shooting place of the 87 CCTV version of A Dream of Red Mansions.

Located in Nancaiyuan West Street, Xicheng District, Beijing, Beijing Grand View Garden is a comprehensive tourist area integrating sightseeing, cultural entertainment, leisure and holiday. It is listed as a national AAA-level tourist attraction and built in 1984.

The main attractions of Beijing Grand View Garden are composed of the Xiaoxiang Pavilion, Qin Fang Bridge, Cuiqi Temple and other redundant film and television shooting landscapes, covering an area of 1.3 million square meters. This is an antique garden, which reproduces the "Grand View Garden" in the classic Chinese literature A Dream of Red Mansions.
