Is there nothing left after death, or is there a soul to come back to see your relatives?

That's not true. After death, there is nothing, and Buddhism does not believe in eternal souls. If you believe in the reality of the soul, you are not a Buddhist who believes in it, but a "heretic". Yes, in the eyes of ordinary people, except that they are materialists, everyone will believe that everyone has an eternal soul. The recently launched "Spiritual Intelligence Society" in Europe and America is the object of their study, that is, the soul. Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Taoism and other religions also belong to the category of soul belief to some extent. It is believed that after people do good and evil, the soul after death will be judged by God or Yan, and good people will go to heaven and bad people will go to hell. In China, people have a deep-rooted superstition about the soul, and one of the biggest mistakes is that the soul after death is a ghost, a soul and a ghost, which is a major problem in Chinese folk beliefs. What is even more ridiculous is that because ghosts have some small magical powers, they think that the soul is a collection of "three souls and six spirits". In fact, ghosts are one of the six sentient beings, just as we humans are also one of the six sentient beings. Being a man, of course, there is life and death; Being born as a ghost, there is also life and death (human viviparous, ghost metaplasia) Besides, people are not necessarily born as ghosts after death, which will be discussed in the next section. There are many legends about the soul in China. People often regard the soul as a bridge between life and death. Life is the reincarnation of the soul, and death is the separation of the soul and the body. The relationship between soul and body is the same as that between house and owner. The old house was broken down and moved into a new house. Houses often move in and out in new ways, but people who live in them keep coming and going. That is to say, man is something with a body on his soul, and his body can change repeatedly, and his soul is unchanged, thinking that the soul is the main body in our life and death. In fact, Buddhism, as a true believer, does not accept the concept of soul, because it cannot be established in the theory of origin and extinction. From the standpoint of "impermanence of life and death", everything is impermanent, so is the material world and so is the spiritual world. Seeing things with the naked eye often leads to the illusion of "unchanging". If you look at anything with sophisticated instruments, everything will change in an instant. The "life" mentioned in the Book of Changes actually includes death, that is, change or transformation. Since the physical phenomena in the material world are endless, it is easier to detect them if we look at the psychological phenomena in the spiritual world, because psychological phenomena are caused by spiritual changes. The change of psychological phenomenon contributes to the good and evil of behavior, and it will in turn affect the tendency of psychological phenomenon. Our future prospects depend on this kind of psychological promotion behavior, which affects the psychological cycle. Then ask: is it possible that the soul is unchangeable and eternal? Of course it's impossible. Don't say that there is no fixed soul after death. Even when we are alive, our body and mind are constantly changing and changing. According to this, Buddhism does not believe in the soul. Then, what is the ontology of the six divisions in the wheel of karma and transcendental holiness mentioned by Buddhism? This is a special advantage of Buddhism, which neither values the permanent value of self nor affirms the value of self-improvement. Buddhism advocates "karma gives birth to law" and "self-emptiness". Buddhism regards the material world as a profession and the spiritual world as a profession. Cause and effect converge, and cause and effect disperse. As big as a planet, a celestial body and even the whole universe, as small as a grass, a grain of dust and an atom. All these exist under the guise of internal and external factors gathering. Nothing can exist except cause and its elements. So, basically, it's empty. Scientists who study physical chemistry can give us correct and affirmative answers. As for the spiritual world? Although Buddhism does not recognize the concept of soul, it is by no means a materialist. The spiritual world of Buddhism is named after the word "knowledge" Hinayana Buddhism only talks about six senses, which are the main body of life. Mahayana Buddhism plus two senses, * * * has eight senses, which is the main body of life. Let's put the Mahayana aside and introduce the eight senses of Mahayana. The eight senses of Mahayana Buddhism, the first six senses are the same as Hinayana, but the function of Hinayana's sixth sense is analyzed in more detail, and the seventh and eighth senses are divided. Eight intellectuals actually have only one subject, and they are given eight names because of the division of functions. Because the first seven intellectuals are good and evil, they will record their accounts in the name of the eighth intellectual. The eighth knowledge is the warehouse of all industries. The manager of this warehouse is the seventh knowledge, the sixth knowledge is access, and the manufacturing operation is the top five knowledge. In this way, the role of the eighth sense is to store, but it does not mean a miser who can only go in and out. Constantly hiding from the outside, but also constantly moving out from the inside, hiding is behavior affecting psychology, printed in the heart, called karma or seeds, moving out is psychological driving behavior, feeling behavior, called karma or current. In this way, the seeds come out and enter, and the seeds are there. Now they are seeds, so are the first period of life, and so are the second, third and even countless periods. The causal convection from this birth to countless past and future generations is not because of this seed, but the present and present laws of the seed, thus forming the continuity of life and life and death. It is precisely because of the continuous entry and exit of seeds and the present that the nature of eight senses is constantly changing. Don't say that the quality of the eighth knowledge in this life is different from that in the previous life, even if the previous life is different from that in the later life. It is precisely because of different ideas that there will be ups and downs. Therefore, the existence of the eighth knowledge lies between the constant changes of karma and karma. Besides the constant changes of karma and karma, the eighth knowledge has no essence. Just as the trend of water is due to the continuity of water, without the continuity of water, there is no trend to be found. The purpose of Buddhism to teach people to practice liberation is to cut off this stream of life and death. When the function of the eighth consciousness disappears completely, it will become emptiness, which is called "turning (trouble) into (pure) wisdom" in Buddhism, and it will free life and death. It can be seen that the eight senses of Buddhism do not mean that the soul is eternal. If superstition has an eternal soul, it is impossible to get rid of life and death. Buddhism denies the soul in concept and the eighth knowledge in purpose. Only by denying the eighth knowledge composed of worry and ignorance can we be completely liberated. But after the eighth knowledge is denied, it doesn't mean nothing, but a manifestation that the body of wisdom is not empty, rather than the entanglement of ignorance and troubles.
