Thoughts on Reading My Friends of Wetland Birds

This book, like Wild Fish, is my two favorite books in the Nature Watch series. The lines inside are very emotional. Every page has both high-definition pictures and rich articles. There is a certain distance between the lines, so it won't get tired of reading. This is a good book.

The author of this book is Ms. Song Xiaojie, and the illustrations are drawn by Mr. Gu. Song Xiaojie wrote down the living habits of one bird after another in a beautiful and clear style. The birds in her works have become humanized, as if I can vividly remember their experiences. The bird can't talk, but she writes with emotion, which is no different from our human emotions.

In addition, her unique themes are eye-catching: "Red-crowned crane: goddess of wetland", "White crane: brass music played in spring" and "Woodpecker with gray-green head: wonderful doctor of forest" ... "How boring a good work is only words! Coupled with the wonderful pictures taken by Gu, it is really icing on the cake. Some birds in the picture spread their wings and soar in the sky; Some play in the stream, splashing clear water; Some of them are eager to try and are in the process of fierce predation ... everything is so natural under Gu's lens!

After reading this book, I was deeply impressed by Song Xiaojie's Collection of Birds. I like that Gu can take photos of real life. I remember that there is a bird's own business card at the beginning of every story, but seeing the words "protection level" on the business card, my heart is like a towel that has been wrung dry, and I am a little afraid that the words below are "endangered" and "extremely dangerous". But I found that most birds are "safe", and I was relieved.

I still remember that in Song Xiaojie's article "Anti-beak Sniper", Song Xiaojie happened to meet an anti-beak sniper, one big and one small, which was very enjoyable. Suddenly, the big snipe threw off the little snipe and dragged the left wing of the ground to Song Xiaojie. When Song Xiaojie thought it was a wounded snipe, the little snipe flew in the opposite direction of Song Xiaojie. At this time, Song Xiaojie realized that the big snipe wanted to give the little snipe time to escape and pretend to be injured to attract Song Xiaojie's attention. I can't get this scene out of my mind. After watching this clip again and again, I am as fidgety as Song Xiaojie: Poachers, I hope you don't catch many birds and make the world a better place!

Birds are alive and dignified. We can't violate every beautiful life. We should love birds and protect the environment from me!
