Every photographer or film repairer has his own method. Even if I tell you everything in detail, it may not be suitable for you. I can only tell you a process, and some more detailed things still need to be accumulated and experienced by yourself.

Take my general process as an example,

1, generally take photos in raw format, and then adjust the basic exposure and white balance with camera raw. If you download official adobe materials on the Internet, you can also perform lens correction and machine color correction, which can be automatic. Then output to psd format for ps fine processing.

2, ps, sharpening (or sharpening before the final film, I am used to sharpening at the beginning), color matching, I usually use curve, color balance, saturation adjustment layer to color matching, if I need some special color effects, I will add an optional color layer.

3. Liquefaction requires a little artistic foundation, otherwise people after liquefaction may have soft bones. Repair tools to remove spots or something, if the model's skin is really not good, use a dermabrasion plug-in

4, modify the bad light and shade effect.

Basically, that's all. Except for some deduction and synthesis, it's generally a portrait process.
