How to make people look more beautiful with Canon A95?

One of the Foundations of MM Shooting-High Angle or Low Angle

Most digital cameras have a portrait mode, but it seems that few people take the initiative to use this mode. Because this mode is similar to photos taken with AUTO files. In fact, in SLR cameras, the role of portrait mode is mainly to maximize the aperture and make the background behind the characters as blurred as possible (its purpose is to separate the characters from the background, which is very effective for highlighting the characters). However, how to adjust the aperture of the compact digital camera will basically not blur the background (this is because the CCD size of the compact DC is too small, so it will not be discussed here), so the portrait mode does not make much sense. Even so, we suggest taking close-ups of people with the telephoto end of the camera as much as possible, which can blur the background. However, when shooting people, the most important thing is not what scene mode the camera uses, but that there are real key factors at work. When taking pictures of people, most people will put the camera at eye level without thinking. Especially when male friends take pictures of MM, men are basically taller, and it is easy to form a top-down angle when taking pictures. In this way, the MM in the photo has a big head and a small body (it looks shorter than the real person) because of perspective. Unless there is a special purpose, the general MM will definitely be unhappy when it is filmed like this. The correct way is to bend slightly when taking pictures, so that the camera can stand at the chest height, so that you can take pictures with average proportion and natural posture. Although bending down to take pictures is a bit troublesome, it is still very valuable for taking pictures of people who are shorter than themselves. Generally speaking, we often see photographers bend over when shooting models in magazines or on TV, which is why. On the other hand, if you shoot from the bottom up, the head of the character will be smaller and the figure will look taller. However, pay attention to the facial expression. And if you shoot from an extreme angle, you will get more interesting results.

The second basic part of MM shooting-wide-angle end and telephoto end

It is also very important to use wide-angle end or telephoto end. In order to clearly show the difference between wide-angle and telescopic viewing angle, we used the powerful wide-angle Canon "Powershot S60" to shoot. When shooting with DC wide-angle end, it will be close to people, and it will be far when shooting with telephoto end. The difference is very obvious. The photos taken at the wide-angle end have exaggerated sense of distance and three-dimensionality, while the photos taken at the telephoto end lose their sense of distance and three-dimensionality. The distance between the wide-angle end and the telephoto end is very different, because it is close to the person being photographed, so it is more appropriate to take some intimate photos with the wide-angle end, and you can try a more interesting POSE to increase the interest of the photos. On the contrary, when taking pictures with telephoto end, you don't need to pose deliberately, which is more suitable for taking busts or close-ups. You can try to take a half-length photo of the telephoto end, which looks shorter than the photo taken with the wide-angle end and loses the sense of distance, which will make people feel very dull. If you shoot this posture with telephoto end (such as outdoor shooting activities, auto shows, etc.), you can try not to shoot your legs into the picture to enhance your sense of distance and intimacy.

The third basis of shooting MM-shoot as bright as possible.

Summer and swimsuits are certainly suitable for that cheerful and bright atmosphere. Especially at the seaside or swimming pool in summer, because of the strong sunshine, the sea water in the sky or the water in the swimming pool is much brighter than people. At this time, if DC is given its own metering to control the exposure, the beautiful MM will be photographed in black. There are two ways to avoid this situation, one of which is exposure compensation. In this case, according to DC automatic metering, the characters in the photo will be darker. We also mentioned the usage of exposure compensation in the last MM shooting course of seaside swimsuit, so we might as well review it here. When using the camera auto-shift, it is easy for people's faces to be dark and covered by the shadow of hair. This is all because the background is bright, which makes the camera's metering system have an illusion.

Exposure compensation+1.0, the photos taken are much brighter, but if the whole picture is brightened by exposure compensation, the atmosphere of the photos will be completely different. Especially in summer, girls don't care that the sky in your photo is exposed to no details, as long as it is white. If MM feels a little dark, she can make up another one to increase the exposure compensation.

Generally speaking, the exposure compensation of consumer DC needs to be adjusted in the menu. Take Canon A95 as an example. If the exposure compensation is still dark, then the second method is to fill the light with a flash. In broad daylight, you can use the forced flash function of DC to fill the light. And it can make reflective white spots (commonly known as eyes) appear on the eyes, which is very beautiful. If used properly, it can produce a ☆ effect that often appears in the eyes of the protagonist of the girl cartoon (hehe, it's a bit exaggerated, but it's still beautiful). Generally speaking, DC will have a special flash mode key to control whether the flash is automatic (left) or forced. But even so, there will still be various situations, such as the sun is too strong, even if the DC flash is used to fill the light, the effect is not great, or the MM is too far from the camera, which exceeds the effective coverage of the flash, etc., so we need to make different responses according to different situations. In short, you should always play back the photos you just took through the LCD screen to confirm. In addition, it should be noted that the LCD screen of digital camera will look darker on sunny days. Although more and more digital cameras are now using high-brightness LCD screens, they still feel very dark when used outdoors on sunny days. At this time, magazines, corpses, books, newspapers, etc. can be used to block the surrounding light to confirm the picture on the LCD screen.
