Introduction of Baotu Spring Scenic Area

Baotu Spring is one of the three famous scenic spots in Jinan. It is located in Lixia District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, with an area of 158 mu. It is adjacent to quancheng square in the east and Wulongtan in the north, making it the crown of 72 springs in Jinan. When Emperor Qianlong visited the south, Baotu Spring was named "the first spring in the world" because of its mellow and sweet taste, and it was also the first spring in Jinan in ancient literature. The scenic spots around Baotu Spring include Luoyuan Hall, Guanlan Pavilion, Shangzhi Hall and Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall.

Luoyuantang

Luoyuantang is located on the north bank of Baotu Spring. It was originally called Ejiang Temple or Eying Temple. A group of buildings with three entrances used to be the site of the ancient Ejina Temple. It was originally dedicated to the two daughters of Dashun's wife Tang Yao: E Huang and Nv Ying. After Jin and Yuan Dynasties, it was changed to Lvzu Temple, dedicated to Lv Dongbin, a new Taoist god who gradually became popular after Song Dynasty. Ceng Gong, a famous litterateur, was the prefect of qi zhou during Xining period of Northern Song Dynasty (1072- 1073). He built two halls in Longshui, and the south hall was adjacent to the source of Longshui, so it was called "Luoyuan Hall".

Guanlan pavilion

Mission Hills Pavilion will be built in the fifth year tomorrow (146 1). Wei and Wu, the internal supervisors, were sent to Jinan by an imperial envoy to build a pavilion (also known as Hu Maozong Building) next to the spring, and named it Guanlan, taking Mencius' meaning that "seeing water has skills, you must watch its waves". The pavilion was originally a long pavilion with four sides and was semi-enclosed. Su Zhe, a great litterateur in the Song Dynasty, once served as secretary Zhang in Xining for six years (1073), and recited many places of interest in Jinan, among which the poem "The Pavilion of the Threshold Springs" is the most famous.

Shangzhitang

Shangzhitang, also known as Yulanyuan, is located in the northeast of Baotu Spring and is a courtyard of the former Shangzhi Academy. Shangzhitang, with three halls in the north and three halls in the south, is surrounded by east and west cloisters. The stream outside the courtyard flows along the cloisters of the house, which is hidden in the hustle and bustle and becomes the characteristic of the whole courtyard. The North Hall is the main building, followed by bamboo plantains. The spring water passes through the bamboo forest and communicates with the spring pools on both sides. The holly hedge on the bank of the west corridor spring water is lovely, and the willow trees on the corridor sway, which skillfully constitutes the scenery of the shade willow corridor.

Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall

Ji Qingzhao Memorial Hall is located in Baotu Spring Park, next to Shuyuanquan. The original Dinggong (Ding Baozhen) Temple was built in 1959, and it was expanded on a large scale in 1999. Now it covers an area of more than 4000 square meters. The memorial hall adopts the architectural style of Song Dynasty, and the overall architectural layout is exquisite and harmonious.
