Wafangdian city is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Liaoning Province, which is managed by Dalian.

Located in the south of Liaoning Province, the northwest of Dalian, and the middle and west of Liaodong Peninsula, it belongs to the continental monsoon climate zone of warm temperate zone, adjacent to three districts (cities), with a total area of 3793.53 square kilometers. The development of history

Wafangdian city has a long history. As early as four or five thousand years ago in the Neolithic Age, human beings lived and multiplied here. During the Warring States Period, it belonged to Liaodong County of Yan State. During the Qin Dynasty, it belonged to Liaodong County. During the Western Han Dynasty, Wenxian County was located in Liaodong County, Youzhou. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, it was changed to Wenxian County, which belonged to Liaodong County, Pingzhou, Wei State.

Jin, Qian Qin and Hou Yan periods belonged to Pingzhou, Liaodong County. In the third year of Yuanxing in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (404), Deli Win City (now Longtan Mountain in Deli Temple Town) was established in the territory, and it was subordinate to Liaodong City. In the first year of Tang Dynasty (668), it belonged to Anton Duhu. In the early Liao Dynasty, it was a Qianmin County, which belonged to Huanglongfu. Later, it was supported by Fuzhou and changed to Fuzhou.
