"That was the first time I found these strange symbols. I found several neat round holes carved on a stone.

Looking away, I was surprised to find that these strange symbols were carved on the rocks next to me, and there were rocks with different symbols around them. Although the appearance of some rocks has weathered, the symbols on them are still clearly visible.

"In the next ten years, Mr. Liu went to Mount Juz many times to find these mysterious symbols and shoot them.

"From 65438 to 0988, it took me more than ten years to find more than 3000 such symbols.

According to him, these stone symbols are distributed on mountains with a total area of 400-600 square kilometers, and these strange symbols exist in about five canyons.

Mr. Liu took out a map of the stone carving of Juzi Mountain and showed it to the reporter. He recorded thousands of "mysterious symbols" he saw on dozens of pages of maps in the form of paintings.

"There are several such maps, and I have also printed some rocks.

The reporter saw that this rubbing map is nearly two meters long and more than one meter wide.

Mr. Liu pointed to several long gaps in the picture and said, "Some experts speculate that these gaps are ancient rivers, and the gaps in this square should be the places where the settlements lived at that time.

Experts say it may be primitive social rock paintings. Mr. Liu told reporters that this mountain is located in the northern mountainous area of Yuzhou, Henan Province, and it is also the legendary place where Dayu controlled water in history.

What do these mysterious symbols have to do with history? In order to find the answer, Liu Junjie asked some authoritative experts in Henan Province for identification.

Some experts believe that the symbols on these rocks are different from those found on pottery in the past. It is inferred that they are like the early descriptive symbols of human beings, or the early lettering symbols before the appearance of Chinese characters.

Some experts speculate that these symbols are human rock paintings in the late primitive society.

Mr. Zhang, who was engaged in water conservancy research during the Dayu period and asked not to be named, said in an interview that this is a significant discovery.

"Dayu flood control has always been considered as a legend in history, but there is no relevant historical evidence. Yuzhou, where mysterious symbols were found, was the area where Dayu's fief was found in history.

Deputy Director Wang told the reporter that according to the historical data at present, Dayu's water control was indeed in the south of Henan Province and Shanxi Province.

Judging from the area where mysterious symbols were found, this area is consistent with the area where Dayu lived during the flood control period.

However, Yu's activities are very extensive, and we can't judge the inevitable relationship between stone carvings and "Dayu's water control".

Deputy Director Wang told the reporter that there is no conclusive historical record about Dayu's water control in Historical Records, but a few years ago, an archaeologist found the record of "Yu's water control" on a bronze ware of the Western Zhou Dynasty, which further understood and studied Yu and Dayu's investigation of water control.

Deputy Director Wang also said that archaeology needs a very rigorous attitude and cannot be judged according to some existing materials.

For these "mysterious symbols", we must first understand what kind of symbols they are, what kind of explanations they may have and when they appeared.
