Is China allowed to enter Mexico at present?

As of March 25th, 2023, Mexicans were allowed to enter China.

According to the agreement between China and Mexico, Mexican citizens with diplomatic and official passports can enjoy visa-free treatment for short-term visits to Mexico. China citizens who have obtained temporary or permanent residence permits in Mexico can re-enter Mexico without a visa.

In principle, holders of valid visas from the United States, Canada, Japan, Britain or Schengen countries or other documents that can prove their permanent residence in these countries, or holders of permanent residence certificates from other pacific alliance member countries, may enter Mexico without a visa, and may not engage in paid activities after entering the country.

It should be noted that the Mexican Immigration Department reminds that only those who hold valid visas or residence certificates of the above countries naturally have the right to enter Mexico, and the Mexican Immigration Department can refuse entry without giving reasons. Visa holders must produce documents that can prove the purpose and conditions of their stay in Mexico.

China citizens holding Hong Kong or Macao SAR passports can enter Mexico visa-free and stay for 90 days. In other cases except the above, regardless of the length of stay, you need to complete the Mexican visa in advance and pass the verification of the Mexican Immigration Bureau before you can enter the country.
