Is the effective aperture of the camera lens the same as that of the aperture?
Aperture has no so-called "effective aperture".
The aperture of a lens is usually controlled by a set of metal sheets that can be opened and closed in the lens. Adjusting the aperture size of the lens is to adjust the size of the opening on the lens (the diameter of the opening, also known as the effective diameter of the lens) by controlling the opening and closing of this group of metal sheets. When the aperture is adjusted to the maximum, the aperture is opened to the maximum, so the luminous flux of the lens is also the largest.
Aperture f value = lens focal length/lens effective diameter. For example, for a 50mm fixed-focus lens, the aperture diameter of the metal plate with a hollow aperture in the lens is 25mm, so its aperture is f=50/25, which is f2. The smaller the value after f, the larger the aperture. For example, a lens f2.0-f22, the maximum aperture value of the lens is f2.0, which is the effective aperture of the lens.
