What's around the album?

Photobook is a kind of idol, and it can also be an album. Photobook is to take unpublished photos as photos. Fans buy pb as a fund-raising, but it has rich returns, and may also be sold with posters, handprints and other surrounding areas.

Photobooks can freely arrange layout and add text. Each Photobook can hold many photos, and the printed picture quality is vivid and beautifully bound. Photobook albums are usually packaged into sentimental stories and well-made. The actual cost of selling two or three hundred yuan is only a few tens of yuan.

The Development and Origin of Photo Album

Because the definition of photo album is very broad, it is difficult to study the origin. If the premise is to "compile plural photos into a book and copy them into a book for publication", then the first photo album in history is "Natural Handwriting" created by British William Henry Fox Talbot in 1844 according to his Carlo method.

Natural handwriting ranges from 1844 to 1846 in six volumes, with 24 photos in total. Because the sales situation at that time was not ideal, there were only six copies. There are about fifteen complete "natural handwriting".

During 1938, the solo exhibition of American photographer Walker Evans was held in new york Museum of Modern Art, which was the first solo exhibition held in a museum in history.
