The development history of Gaoqiao
In April 1972, Takahashi’s first three-piece apochromatic (APO) telescope, the TS80, was launched. In 1973, their first three-piece fluorite telescope was used for astronomical photography. On June 29 of that year, a total solar eclipse occurred in South Africa. In 1977, Takahashi launched another three-piece fluorite apochromatic telescope, the TS-90, which was a 90mm x 1000mm refractor, equipped with a 90S equatorial mount, and in 1979 launched the famous JP equatorial mount. . The equatorial mount known as the NJP is still in production today. JP and NJP equatorial mounts can be converted into Takahashi's Temma automatic star finding system. This is a classic equatorial mount that has stood the test of time. In 1981, the portable Sky Patrol equatorial mount was developed, which greatly satisfied enthusiasts for watching solar and lunar eclipses. The product featured a polar mirror installed on the R.A. axis and a 40mm guide mirror inside. The camera angle interface developed by Takahashi is a device that can rotate 360 ??degrees without losing focus. Takahashi also uses a compression ring in the eyepiece tube to keep the eyepiece centered for good imaging. Launched gradually. Takahashi has the ability to grind high-precision hyperboloid reflectors and use them in the current Epsilon series and improved RC designs. This year was also the time when the FCT-150 fluorite three-piece APO refractor and the revolutionary EM-2000 equatorial mount came out. The EM-2000 uses electronic devices to directly read right ascension/declination. This equatorial mount can be disassembled into 3 parts for better portability. The 1985 three-piece FCT series included 65, 76, 100, 125 and 150mm fluorite three-piece refractors. In 1989, Takahashi launched the TSC-225: a 225mm Sch-Kard innovatively using 10 visors and a cooling fan installed at the rear of the lens barrel. 225 uses white German optical glass as the correction mirror. After the Epsilon-210 hyperboloid mirror adopted a carbon fiber lens barrel, the Epsilon-250 with a carbon fiber lens barrel was produced in 1992. Takahashi also manufactures 350mm hyperboloid mirrors for observatories.
