Manongzhai, which has never been well-known before, has recently become a punching resort for travelers to find time because of the appearance of Guangxi photographers, especially Guangxi large-format photographers.

Driving more than 500 kilometers from Nanning, I came to Manongzhai, Nadi Village, Dea Town, Longlin Autonomous County, a Miao ancient wooden structure building complex. It's a long way, but it's worth it.

Manongzhai is now called De 'e Town, and even the "Living Museum of Ethnic Minorities" in Longlin Autonomous County. It is the only well-preserved Miao Village ancient wooden structure building complex. Unfortunately, in the wave of "dangerous buildings" or "foreign buildings", "working buildings" and "Guangdong buildings" built by young people in Guangdong to earn money, all kinds of so-called "tall and fashionable" white buildings and foreign buildings flooded into the village, and at the same time, thousands of traditional ancient wooden buildings disappeared in a year. In less than ten years, tens of thousands of antique Miao traditional wooden buildings in De 'e Town and even Longlin disappeared.

Manongzhai, 5 kilometers south of De 'e Town. Up and down several bends, and Guangxi big format club came to Zhaikou. When I entered the stockade, I only saw two or three dogs and a few horses, and it was difficult to see the people in the stockade. At first glance, the building foundation composed of stone slabs and piers, with large columns and wooden purlins staggered, are all hand-made wooden buildings scattered in the mountains, and more than 40 buildings are nestled in a small valley, layered and proudly standing in the mountains.

At the end of the sparsely populated Manongzhai village, several old people and children came out to meet us. They are the staunch stay-behind of Miao village's ancient wooden buildings.

An old man sighed: "Almost everyone in the stockade has gone out. Everyone who worked in Guangdong has moved away. A few years ago, most people moved to Dea Street, and now only a few of us are left. I hate staying here. If we leave, maybe passers-by will catch fire and the wooden buildings here will rot quickly. "

The eaves and columns of these 40 old houses are engraved with unique patterns. It is the only visible property left by the ancestors of Miao family to their descendants, and it is also the material and cultural heritage of Miao's Millennium architectural culture, which can be called the artistic treasure of Miao's traditional architectural culture.

Our group went upstairs to experience and feel the charm of the unique craftsmanship of Mulou in a comfortable and ventilated space. Each wooden structure building consists of 40 to 50 columns and more than 100 wooden purlins, which are built by Miao craftsmen with hammers. Instead of a nail or a pound of cement, solid bluestone is used, and the warmth of wood and the coldness of stone complement each other, which has a unique charm.

It is said that most of the Miao ancient wooden buildings in Manongzhai have a history of more than 100 years. The earliest buildings were built in the late Qing Dynasty, and some were built in the early Republic of China.

At present, most of the wooden buildings in Miao village in De 'e town and surrounding towns have disappeared, so the ancient wooden buildings in Manong Miao village have become precious. In addition, it has become a symbol of the past days of the people of all ethnic groups in De 'e Town and even Longlin, and a microcosm of the country's strength and national progress.

According to reliable information, De 'e Town in Longlin Autonomous County has been listed as the focus of tourism development in Longlin and even Baise, and the development and tourism of De 'e minority tourism town are heating up rapidly.

We believe that in the near future, the ancient wooden buildings of the Miao nationality in Manongzhai will be favored by tourists from all over the world.

I believe that after the publication of this picture and text, more tourists will visit this place in person, eat Miao family meals, see Miao family mountains, stay in Miao family rooms and examine themselves in the atmosphere of watching Miao architectural culture.
