The truth that we often ignore and forget has been made into a movie by South Korea. The latest high-scoring new film once again pokes the heart-"Little Client".
The theme of the story revolves around "child abuse". Jeong Yeop (Li Donghui), an unsuccessful lawyer, is rejected by her sister and has no job. She temporarily went to work in children's welfare home for a few days. On the first day of her arrival, she met two brothers and sisters, Jin Duoshan (Cui Mingbin) and Jin Minjun (Li Zhuyuan), who suffered from domestic violence.
My brother and sister were born in an unhappy family, my mother died young, and my father didn't want to take care of this family. Nevertheless, my sister took up the responsibility of being a mother and took good care of my brother. Although their family is poor, their life is still very happy.
However, this kind of tranquility collapsed at the moment when the stepmother appeared, and she never used chopsticks to sleep noisily, but anyone who didn't agree with her stepmother would be beaten up. But although the neighbors, the police and the class teacher all know all this, no one wants to say it. Even Uncle Jeong Yeop, whom all his brothers and sisters trust very much, is only perfunctory to keep this job. Finally, it was my brother's death that awakened Jeong Yeop's conscience and the class teacher. Together, they found evidence to sue, and finally brought down their stepmother and won a happy future for the children. The film has a happy ending. The fake mother was sentenced to 16 years, and the biological father was sentenced to 5 years. My sister can finally live a happy life.
What moved me most about this real child abuse incident was the trauma to the child's mind: "Adults can't be trusted. What can I do if I say it? " Sadly, until the end, "mom" didn't feel that she was wrong. In her opinion, the child is mine and life is mine. Who cares what I want to do? Even if the child is killed, it is my own business, and no one is qualified to interfere in my life.
This seemingly absurd excuse is actually not a case. Aside from the special status of "stepmother" in the film, how many parents always use violence against their children in the name of "education" Today, they are still convinced that "it is normal to hit a child a few times because the child is too disobedient." What is true parental love, and what is worthy of being called "obedient"? Can the corporal punishment education of "beating is pro, scolding is love" really be called "love"?
This is not love, it is a violation of children's personality and self-esteem. It is also extremely selfish and distorted to regard children as objects and possessions.
The true love of parents should be like this-"Children learn to be happy and grow up under the care of their mothers, that's all."
