In Nanjing in June+February, 5438, the frost was colorful.

Not only the "most beautiful 600 meters" of the Ming Tombs, but also the maple leaves of Qixia Mountain are red and the phoenix trees on the street are yellow. Autumn has turned this Nanjing city into a fairy tale world.

But in fact, Nanjing has not only these scenic spots in autumn, but also a Cabernet Sauvignon Lake, in which more than 50,000 Cabernet Sauvignon trees are planted. The scenery is unique, and June+February in 5438 is the best place to go. Have you ever heard of it?

This Chishan Lake is located at the junction of Nanjing and Anhui, with an area of about 5,800 mu, including 3,600 mu in Nanjing and 2,200 mu in Lai 'an County, Chuzhou, Anhui, about 70 kilometers away from Chuzhou and 50 kilometers away from downtown Nanjing. It is not only the largest Chishan Lake in Nanjing, but also the largest Chishan Lake in East China. Chishan Lake National Wetland Park is named after its huge Chishan forest.

In fact, it was originally a low-lying waterlogged area, and the waterlogging was particularly serious. In order to improve this situation, after many experiments, a Taxodium ascendens forest was finally successfully built, and after decades of returning fishing to the fields to repair the water quality, Taxodium ascendens was replanted, and finally it was built into the largest Taxodium ascendens forest in East China.

If you go in summer, you will see a more spectacular lotus blossom than the West Lake. There are 152 lotus ponds of different sizes in the park, all of which are precious lotus varieties in China. The lotus ponds also extend 500 mu along the Jiangsu-Anhui border river, totaling 1000 mu, creating a thousand mu of lotus ponds.

In midsummer, it is most suitable for boating on the lake, smelling the fragrance of lotus seeds, watching the graceful lotus flowers, and occasionally having wild ducks and egrets swimming in the water, which is most suitable for summer; If you go at this time, only the withered residual lotus is left in the pool, which is still the trace of autumn.

In autumn and winter, the most striking thing in the park is Taxodium ascendens.

At this time, Chi Shan had already taken off her green coat, but she was wearing gorgeous autumn clothes, red, orange, yellow and green, and colorful. Especially in February of 65438+, Taxodium ascendens turned red, and a flaming "water forest" was in front of us, which was extremely shocking. I shot a blockbuster effect with my mobile phone.

Taxodium ascendens is difficult to survive because it grows in water and is difficult to replant. Use some dead trees to make a plank road in the forest, which is about 700 meters long, so it is called "Chishan Plank Road".

At the foot is a brown Taxodium ascendens, with red Taxodium ascendens leaves beside it. The water was also dyed red by the reflection of Taxodium ascendens, and the ringing birdsong in my ears never stopped. At this time, I only feel extremely light and quiet inside.

If you can overlook the whole Taxodium ascendens forest from high altitude, it will be even more shocking, just like on a green canvas, red, yellow, green, blue and other colors are randomly combined, with different densities, just like a palette that is preparing to color, and the white on some leaves is like frost in late autumn, which makes Taxodium ascendens more dreamy.

Of course, there are not only Taxodium ascendens here, but also all kinds of birds. According to statistics, there are more than 90 species, such as loons and bone chickens. Summer is dominated by geese and ducks, and winter is a paradise for cormorants. Therefore, in the red forest, birds can often be seen skimming over the water. It is an important bird habitat in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and has the reputation of a bird paradise.

This is also a newly opened wetland park. Nowadays, public transportation is not very convenient, and it is more suitable for self-driving. There are also places for tourists to stay in the park, such as farmhouse and boathouse. If you are not in a hurry, you can stay here for one night. On the morning of late autumn, the mist on the lake is even more dreamlike.

I wonder what kind of autumn scenery do you like best? Where is the most beautiful autumn in your city? Welcome to leave a message in the comment area below and share your travel story ~
