Eight Scenes of Quanzhou:

Introduction: Also known as "Eight Small Scenes in Quanzhou". The popularity of this view is inseparable from the Eight Scenes of Springs written by the late China famous spring painter Shuoqing Li. According to later generations, Shuoqing Li knew that there were ten scenic spots and eight scenic spots in Quanzhou when he was a teenager. Later, he traveled all over the country and found that the related publications of Eight Scenes, Ten Scenes and Twelve Scenes were photos, so he decided to find another way to describe the Eight Scenes in Quanzhou with pen and ink.

These eight scenic spots include: Mountain (the Mountain Academy where Zhu lectured), Twin Towers in the air (the East-West Pagoda of Kaiyuan Temple), Moonlight on the Bamboo River (the Bamboo River), Lotus Fragrance on the East Lake (the East Lake), Fengshan Mountain (the Dongyue Mountain), Muslim Sunset (the mosque), Jade Ball Wind (the wind stone of the Holy Tomb) and Chongfu Night Bell (the Chongfu Temple).

Because these eight scenic spots are mainly concentrated in Old Licheng, they are also called "Small Eight Scenes in Quanzhou".
