In fact, there is no road on the mountain

It is said that a benevolent person enjoys mountains and a wise person enjoys water.

In fact, mountains and water are mostly dependent on each other.

If I had to choose between mountains and water, I would still choose mountains. There is no why, just like the person you love, can you tell why?

Traveling through wild mountains is something I have longed for. Because I have no experience, I dare not try it if it is too intense. This Shangzhi Datuding Mountain Crossing happened to be a suitable opportunity, so I signed up to participate. As for this kind of low-intensity wild wear, the strong donkeys disdain it, and those with weak physical strength dare not go. Therefore, in the end, only 22 people made the trip, evenly divided between men and women.

At 6:40, our car set off from Shuangcheng. Driving through the urban area of ??Harbin, there are gradually scattered mountains, passing by on both sides.

Halfway through the journey, while we were chatting and laughing and admiring the scenery outside the car window, we suddenly found many cars parked in front of us. It turned out that a private car spontaneously ignited and caught fire, blocking traffic. All kinds of cars stopped; all kinds of people got out of the cars. It’s so lively, go to the front to find out. Those who are too lazy to leave take out their mobile phones and surf the Internet. There are also people like me who are attracted by the beautiful scenery on the roadside and concentrate on taking pictures. The ordinary flowers and plants are refreshing.

It turns out that this is alfalfa. The flowers are very small and seem to have a faint fragrance. I can’t be sure.

It didn’t take long, the previous problems were solved, and the cars started to move forward in sequence. The Eagles counted the number of people and found that one person was missing, the person whose online name was Big Big Wolf. Thinking that he had gone ahead, he decided to look for him while walking forward. When the car started, someone also contacted Hui Tailang. It turned out that he was behind and could not find our car. We couldn't park on the highway, so we had no choice but to tell him to hail a car and catch him. We would wait for him at the service area not far ahead.

After waiting for almost half an hour, I finally waited for the laggard Gray Wolf like the stars and the moon, and continued to move forward.

Hearing someone say that it was almost there, everyone started to prepare. Snow gloves, ice sleeves, scarves, gloves... were all dressed up. After a while, we reached the foot of the mountain. After grabbing what they should bring, mainly water and food, the team headed towards the mountain.

Although the first section of the road was bumpy, there were no ups and downs, so it was an easy walk. Only when we actually arrived at the mountain did we realize that everyone had been here. The Eagles are asking for everyone's opinion on which direction to take. They say we should choose a relatively easy route, because we were delayed for so long on the way and worried that we wouldn’t have enough time.

After making this decision, I headed towards the right-hand direction in the photo and planned to climb the mountain. Not far up the road, something felt wrong and I couldn't go any further. So we went back the way we came, and had to take the road that seemed difficult to walk.

A few people, led by Brother Lantian, never forget to pick mushrooms. The eldest brother is over sixty years old and is the oldest one this time. He has good physical strength and knows all about mushrooms. He can tell whether they are poisonous or not at a glance. Any one of us who found an edible mushroom would call him. Hard work pays off, look at the big brother’s happy smile and full harvest.

This is a real wild mountain, with an altitude of more than 800 meters, which is not high. But there was no road at all, so we just made our way through the bushes. Underfoot is a thick layer of humus soil formed by fallen leaves, which is soft and loose. Those walking in front will automatically break dead branches blocking the road or move fallen tree trunks to provide convenience for those behind.

After a while, someone complained that he was tired and shouted: Didn’t you say you came to pick mushrooms? I didn’t say I had to climb such a difficult mountain! The Eagles comforted them: It's not high, just hold on for a while and then go up.

It's useless to complain. Once you enter the mountain, there is no way back, you can only go forward. The photos I took were all relatively easy to walk. When it’s hard to leave, who has time to take photos? They all focused on looking at their feet. Sometimes there would be fallen trees lying in front of them, and they had to step over them. Or there are thin branches like vines that can cause you to trip if you don’t pay attention. There is also the eleuthero that follows almost all the way. The branches are densely covered with hard sharp thorns. If your hand touches it, it will be very painful. Everyone has been pricked many times.

At the beginning, follow the group for a while. I find that I am always anxious when following behind, and it is impossible to surpass the past. If the person in front is slower, I can only wait. So in the following process, always try your best to walk in front, so that you feel more relaxed.

After crossing a few hills, someone shouted that they were hungry and asked for food. The Eagles did not agree and said they would climb a little longer and find a relatively flat place.

The road ahead is quite steep and almost always follows the ridge. There are slopes on both sides. Fortunately, the trees are dense and it doesn't feel so dangerous. While walking attentively, a voice came from the Eagles' intercom: Dusty felt dizzy after the rain. The team stopped and waited. The gray wolf who once fell behind was a doctor and returned to help.

After a while, Qilin said on the intercom that the dust was fine after the rain, and the whole team continued to move forward.

Found this muscular guy on a thick tree stump. Don't know what it is. Brother Lantian smelled it and said it should be edible. A few of the brave ones tasted it.

This group of extremely curious people surrounded everyone and took various photos and group photos. Although I have tasted it, I am still not sure what it is. Only Brother Lantian picked two small pieces, and no one else dared to pick it.

After I came back, I checked the information and found out that it is called Changbai Mountain wild sulfur bacteria, also called Huangzhi, 100 yuan/500 grams. Haha, this is really blind to sight.

After climbing over the ridge, we found a more open place and started lunch. The food is all brought from home, simple but rich. Here are pancakes, dried tofu rolled with scallions, and cucumber dipping sauce, and there are corn noodles brought by Kirin. There were also people who brought wine, and the food was quite enthusiastic.

The husband and wife were walking together. The husband was tall and taciturn. My wife said many times along the way: Never again. On the way back in the car, she lay on his lap and fell asleep. He carefully protected her with his arms, and the scene was very warm.

The photographer Brother Sunshine, Little Miss Green Rose, and I didn’t feel very hungry. This big tree became our temporary stool and dining table. Taking out their respective foods, they turned out to be similar: bread, milk drinks, intestines. While eating, I thought: If I were at home in such an environment, would I be able to eat? There are a wide variety of insects crawling around under your feet. There were buzzing things around me, things that looked like flies but were not, circling around. Green Dior said, don't look down, eat quickly.

Looking at a group here and a group there, I couldn’t help but think of things like birds of a feather.

Brother Sunshine finished eating first and picked up the camera to take pictures for everyone.

Seeing that they hadn’t finished eating yet, I said I wanted to go to the highest place and have a look, and Brother Sunshine also wanted to go. Others advised us to save some energy, but we still couldn't resist the temptation, so we chose an angle where we could go up and started climbing. The slope is about 60 degrees. It's very steep and the soil is soft. It's really difficult. Using hands and feet, I climbed up.

After eating and drinking, I feel confident and energetic, and my steps are much lighter. Following closely behind the Eagles was still the seventeen-year-old boy who didn't like us calling him a child and repeatedly stated that he was one year shy of adulthood. He didn't know that only children would look forward to growing up. Behind us were me and 26-year-old Luluo. The little girl was petite and delicate, but had great physical strength. When we were going down the mountain, we were joined by a fifty-eight-year-old chipmunk sister in our small group. These people happened to be of all ages, ranging from teenagers to nearly sixty years old.

As the saying goes, it is easier to go up a mountain than to go down, and this is true. When going up a mountain, you can control your own pace. When going down the mountain, the slope is a bit steeper and it becomes completely involuntary. Through the first two experiences, I gradually gained some experience: first, the upper body must be tilted backward, and second, the feet must be in an outward shape. The thing that hurts the knees the most is actually the steps made of stone slabs, which are very uncomfortable to walk on.

We walked and stopped in front, waiting for the people behind. Everyone brought very little water, and they were reluctant to drink the last bit of water they had left. They took a small sip each time to moisten their throats. Halfway up the mountain, I found dog dates, which were still green. A few people who were extremely thirsty ate them without caring about the taste. Cao Cao could quench his thirst by looking at plum blossoms. Can we also produce some body fluids by relying on these wild jujubes? After a while, I saw the red pallet fruit again, and everyone rushed to stuff it into their mouths. This was much more delicious than the wild dates.

When I came back down the mountain and arrived at the service area, I saw someone selling this kind of fruit. It cost ten yuan for a small plate. The Eagles bought it and distributed it to everyone.

When I went down the mountain, I saw a lot of this kind of grass. It was hollow, very green in color, and had stems and joints. I checked it when I came back and found out it's called "Equipe". I like the flowers and plants that grow cleanly.

A fallen tree trunk was covered with green moss, and some small mushrooms grew out of it, which looked very cute. When I see a plant that interests me, I can’t help but stop and take a few photos. Let nature take its course. My brother said to me: everyone takes pictures of themselves, so you just take pictures of flowers and plants. He doesn't know how much love I have for these plants and trees.

Halfway up the mountain, you can hear the sound of gurgling water, but you can't see the shadow of water. Going down to the foot of the mountain, a clear stream suddenly appeared in front of us. Everyone washed their faces and hands one after another and felt much cooler. Looking at the clear stream water, I really want to lean over and take a few sips.

Looking back at the mountains we conquered, I feel that the sweat and fatigue along the way were all worth it! The same mountain may not come back a second time, so say goodbye to it quietly - I have been here, I have walked through, and I hope the green mountains will always be there!

It is about three kilometers from the foot of the mountain to this small village. Although it is also a bumpy mountain road with large and small rocks scattered all over it, compared to the mountain, it is too flat.

When they saw the houses in the village, everyone couldn’t help but cheer! Eagle and the two young men quickened their pace and went to buy water. When looking at the smoke curling up from other people's chimneys, a feeling of "home" arises spontaneously. "The distant village is warm, the smoke is in the ruins", this is what it means! It was dinner time, and we, exhausted, were still hundreds of miles away from home.

More than two hours later, I returned to our small town. My first wild adventure was successfully completed.

After the previous two mountain climbing and hiking trips, my calves were sore for two days, but this time I didn’t feel any pain at all. Maybe, this is my fate with it. Love the feeling of the mountain beneath my feet when climbing. Overcoming difficulties again and again, even using hands and feet to leave another mountain behind, the pleasure of conquering is really enjoyable.

In everyone’s life, there is something suitable for you to do, but you may not always be able to find it. I found it, so I'm lucky.

Every time I go out, I gain weight. I don’t know why. Another gain is that I feel that bugs are not so scary anymore, and they seem to be a little cute.

The eldest brother said that cycling does not help you lose weight, but it makes you happy.

I also want to say: Climbing mountains does not help you lose weight, but it is very happy.

I remember I once wrote a message to the effect that if there is an afterlife, I would like to be a grass, weathering the wind and rain, growing tenaciously and happily. Now, there is no need to wait for the next life. I am just such a small grass, I don’t need much nutrients, I don’t depend on others, I can grow freely.
