Introduction of René Magritte

Rene Magritte

Belgian painter, one of the main members of the surrealist movement.

1898 was born in Lessing and has an introverted personality. When he 14 years old, his mother committed suicide, which brought great trauma to Magritte's young mind at that time. /kloc-at the age of 0/8, Magritte entered the Brusselaer Art Institute and studied intermittently for several years. During his growing up, the poets Bourgeois and Ma Song had a great influence on him.

1922, Magritte saw a copy of Kiriko's "Love Song", and Magritte determined his own style from then on. During the period of 1925, Magritte entered the surreal period. His two sisters, written in this year, are actually the double images of a girl in day and night. The black boy threatened written by him in 1926 is typical and based on daily life, but it is a very horrible and erotic theme used by Magritte.

1in August, 927, Magritte moved to the French suburbs and kept close contact with Brittany and Ai Lvya. The next three years will be the harvest period of Magritte's creation, and all his excellent works will be completed at this stage.

Tired of the controversy and madness in Paris, Magritte returned to Brussels at 1930, far away from the world art center Paris, and he no longer attracted people's attention. It was not until after the Second World War that Magritte was re-recognized at the retrospective exhibition of modern art held in New York, USA.

Magritte's style hasn't changed much in his life. He is not influenced by the popular new technology, but focuses on creating fantastic, scary and special images. His portrait is as riddled as a riddle. There is a dead silence in his works, and his views include the rational world from politics to philosophy. For other masters, Magritte rarely touched on the theme of love between men and women.

Bleton called Magritte's works "the clearest surrealism". Magritte's creation has a great influence on modern western painting, especially on Dali, Ma Song and the younger generation of pop artists.

Margaret was exiled to France during World War II. Later, he participated in many important art exhibitions held in Europe and America, and gradually became an internationally renowned painter. 1960 held the first personal retrospective exhibition in the United States. Its international popularity reached its climax in 1965 retrospective exhibition of new york Museum of Modern Art.

Margaret's painting style has basically maintained the surrealism style called precision mysterious realism or magic realism. The work truly and undistorted reproduces the daily scenes, but the unexpected combination of events and details produces a strange and grotesque mystery, just like the illusion vision when you wake up and don't wake up in your sleep, which has extraordinary imagination and forms a unique painting style in surrealist painting.
